Flowers for Me !!!

So unexpected...
These flowers just came today and they are such an unexpected surprise. My DH usually bring me no occasion flowers. That's what he calls it, because ever since I've known him he will just bring me flowers.
Our anninversary is really today and he still managed to surprised me. I was getting ready to leave to hike with my friend and he happened to call me. I told him where I was going and he said to me "don't be long".
I did not know why he said that but now I kinda put it together when the delivery guy came knocking at my door.
How sweet is that !!!
Sometimes it's just the little things that life is presented to you that gets you all choked up and makes you feel really good inside.

Presenting...

You Cheer Me Up Award !!!

Kelly (My Little Hobby) gave me this cute Lucy
"You Cheer Me Up Award". Every now and then, we need friends to cheer us up. Thanks Kelly. You are awesome !!!

Here are the Ethels and Lucys that deserve this award.

Jean (Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) is the Ethel in my circle of friends. I get goofy at times and she is just right there by my side. She is a talented stamper and always share her great ideas.

Barb (Creative Stampin'Spot) is definitely a Lucy. I just sit back and watch her do things like she
had those vitamins that Lucy takes. She is uber organized and a very talented stamper.

Sarah ( My Scrapbook Table) She could be Lucy the way she run her home and takes care of the kids. It is amazing how she even finds time to stamp, but she does. She has amazing talent
and her cards are awesome.

Mercy (Lord have Mercy) She could be both, but I could be wrong. I know what she is for sure,
a very talented and creative stamper.

Flossie (Flossie's Follies) I will have to say Lucy.
Flossie always cheer me up with her comments and her blog is full of wonderful creations.

We Have a Winner !!!

Blog Candy Winner !!!
I really enjoyed everyone's comments and was really getting into how long each and everyone have been stamping. Thanks for all your wonderful responses and kind words.

Now, it's my turn to let you know how long I have been stamping and how I got introduced to it. My friend Barb and I got invited to a stamping party and we had no clue at the time what it was. We watched the demonstration and the few minutes that took her to make this card, I knew I wanted to do what she was doing. I took to it like a fish took to water. After that, my life has just been surrounded with stamps, ink pads and friends...
In order to support my stamping, I even joined Stampin'UP! and became a demonstrator -11 years and counting.

Class Projets

Good Morning to you all !!!
Here are some projects that I did with my Stamping
class yesterday.

Bloom
Bloomin Beautiful is one of the sets that I used. For the
background , I used the stamp image repeatedly using the Stamp-a majig. For the main panel, I created the embossed circle using the Crop-a-dile. It was quite a challenge for the group but they did wonderfully. I used SU markers for the coloring. I used Blush Blossom first, then went over with Cameo Coral and blend the colors with a blender pen.

Stamps: Bloomin Beautiful
Paper: Groovy Guava, Basic Gray, Watercoloring paper, Blush Blossom
Ink: Basic Gray, Staz-on Black, Cameo Coral , Blush Blossom, Mellow Moss
Accessories: DS Ribbon

Blender Pen

Thanks for your Support

Paper: Blush Blossom, Real Red, DSP East Coast Prep
Ink: Black Marker, Tempting Turquoise

Pre Menopausal Susie
Susie was a hit. They loved her. What's not to love about her. She is You, Me, and every woman that has gone through the changes or is going through it. (lol).
I used the One of a Kind set for the bottom part. I used markers again to do the coloring using the light colors first and the darker colors after.

Happy Day Bookmark

Sketch Card #170
Hi everyone !!! A little "late" posting today but I have a very
good reason. I have to do a class today with my group. I still wanted to do today's sketch. The panel on the right side was
ideal for a bookmark so I made this card/bookmark. I used the rub-ons which surprisingly worked for me this time and also because I learned from my mistake the last time (lol).
The background seemed perfect for this rub-ons, so I used it.
The Apricot Appeal paper was leftover from yesterday's color challenge, so I paired it with the Wild Wasabi. I used the Window punch to hold my bookmark and was punched 2 times.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: Dots and Daisies
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Black craft, White Gel pen
