Simply Simple 38

Hello Peeps !!!

Hapy Monday !!!

Just a quick post before I go to bed (long night last night).
I debated about getting this set- Easter Blossoms, but after I've inked it up there is no doubt in my mind that I needed this stamp set.  I love this stamp image especially.  I colored it in pink, and used a textured vellum background that I ran through the Big Shot.  I added glitter and pearls which is about the right touch it needed.  Of course, I have to add a ribbon- organdy pink ribbon with a rhinestone brad.
Hope you like it.
Hop over to Jean's blog ( Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see what she has created for her Simply Simple card.

RECIPE:
Stamps:  Easter Blossoms
Paper:  Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Vellum

Playing with Colors 37

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Thursday !!!

Today's colors- Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride and Whisper White for my Neutral.
I am pretty amazed on this new set from SU Build a Blossom stamp set that comes with its own Blossom Petals Punch. How cool is that ?  This card is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, so as you could see the flower is a good size. I stamped the petals first, then I punched evry single one of them. I did sponging on the edges of the petals and used the spritzer all over so you could see some flecks of the Rich Razzleberry ink. It just creates a wonderful effect.  I did the same thing with the leaves-stamped and punched. I used the tag punch for my sentiment, added a bubble to the center of the flower and a ribbon bow for my finishing touch. Hope you like it. If you are interested in finding out more on the Build a Blossom and Petals Punch, please feel free to contact me at anytime.
Hop over to Jean's blog ( Bear Hugs and Inky Paws)  and see how she played with these colors.

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Sunday !!!

I woke up early today and decided to make a card for my son's birthday tomorrow.  I can't believe my baby is turning 19. My oldest just turned 24 Jan 14th (Cade's dad). It does make me feel "old".
We had family over and had a nice celebration for both of them.
This card was done using the MDS. He loves to skateboard and I thought this would be a great card for him.  I downloaded it yesterday and this card took less than 10 minutes to make. I added the shadow by "copy and paste" and changed the color to gray and change the opacity.
What a cool way to do it. Hope you like it.

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pattern DSP
Ink:  Basic Black
Accessories:  eyelets
