Eat Cake

Hello Peeps !!!
Happy Tuesday !!!
I am very late posting today- got so many things to do that keeps me from doing what I love best- and that is to go to my stamping room and make cards. I was going to use the sentiment for his birthday and it turned out into something completely different. So he got a birthday card with the motorcycle stamp.
I did not think Marina Mist and poppy Parade will look cool together but now I know-
Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Friends Never Fade

Hello Peeps !!!
Happy Monday !!!
I can't believe the weekend is over already. I guess time flies when you are having fun. I had the most fun yesterday with 18 people at my stamping class. It got crazy in the beginning but it finally settled down. Beth's house is just beautiful and very Vintage/Country looking. I had beginners that did awesome with their cards. I totally enjoyed that class.
Anyway, here is a card for our Simply Simple. I just stamped the image in Very Vanilla and framed my sentiment. This ribbon goes well with the Early espresso, so I used it for my accent.
Hope you like it.
Hop over to Jean's blog (Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) to see her Simply Simple card.

Playing with Colors 14

Hello Peeps !!!
Happy Thursday !!!
Thank you so much for the Congratulatory remarks on my grandbaby- I enjoyed every single one of them. They say that having a grandbaby changes your life, but I did not realized how
much until now. WoW !!!
Today's card is Playing with Colors- Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla as my Neutral. This card is totally out of my comfort zone- I really do not do a lot of distressing but I thought this set can use some. I distressed the edges using the Cutter's Kit. I found a very old DSP when I was cleaning my stamp room and used it for the background panel. I sprayed some distressing ink and very lightly on the main image. Hope you like it.
Hop over to Jean's blog ( Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see how she played with these colors,
and I invite you to play along as well.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Artistic Etchings
Paper: Pear Pizzaz, Chocolate Chip. Marina Mist, DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink: Chocolate Chip. Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: satin ribbon, pearl
Tools: Cutters kit, distressing ink, circle punches, Big Shot, square lattice EF
