Beautiful Wings

Such A beautiful sentiment from the Faith in Nature.  I used the butterflies and punch them with the butterfly punch.  I could not resist using the Designer Series Papers ( DSP) for my background.

MDS Tuesday

Happy Tuesday !!!

I finally got a chance to purchase this digital set and I am just loving it.  The image is twice the size of the regular stamp set and I was able to change the sentiment.  Don't you just love it?  I added the DSP background, popped the pants for a 3-d effect and used brads for the pants.  Hope you like it.

Simply Simple



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I have created three cards for Simply Simple week- showing how you can create three simple cards using the Upsy Daisy stamp set. I stamped the image three times using Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral and
Poppy Parade on Whisper White cardstock.  Then I cut the cardstock  three times and combined the three colors.  The sentiments worked perfectly for each card.  Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased 66



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

I found this sweet, sweet birthday card to cased from Cristena's blog ( Gettin' Crafty) and her perfect layout using the Ain't Love Grand stamp set.  I pretty much cased the layout with some  changes- used In Color colors , used DSP using my 1" square punch, placed brads around, and centered the sentiment. I ran the background through the Big Shot using the sqaure lattice IF. I added the dazzling Details  which just make the card stands out. Hope you like it.

Awash Flowers

Happy Friday !!!

This stamp set Awash with Flowers has not been inked in along time. I chose some reds and the Crumb Cake blends beautifully with it.  I added some Crystal Effects for the flowers so it really stand out.
I still have some of the polka dot ribbon , so I chose it to accent my card along with the ric rac.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

Looking at these colors and the stamp set I used- it almost feel like there is  a hint of an Asian flare to it.
The colors today - Pool Party, Real Red, basic Black and Whisper White for my Neutral. I would not normally used Fabulous Florets for these colors but I am glad I did because I love the end result,

Stampin' Up Raining Flowers

I know it is late even for me to post- I fell asleep this morning after work. I guess I was really tired.
I made this card using the Raining Flowers stamp set on Very Vanilla c/s.  I did paper piercing in one corner for accent. I used Cherry Cobbler ink for the flowers and Lucky Limeade for the stems.

Stampin' Up Violets For You

Would you believe me if I tell you this stamp set is from Stampin' UP?  I have been doing some cleaning in our office/storage and found this stamp set and it really caught me eye. I stamped it in Basic Black and did some coloring. I used the Wisteria In Color DSP and did the fold like a ribbon-something I learned at convention. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 66

I am really enjoying the In Colors that I have been using them quite a bit especially for today's Simply Simple card.  I used Calyps Coral for my flowers and Island Indigo for my leaves and background color. I added a border, pearls and ruffled ribbon for my embellishments. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Summer Solstice

Yesterday was a no post day. I am out of town and did not have much time to cased somebody for my Consider It Cased week.  I
Today, I wanted to share a card using the Summer Solstice, I am really having fun with this flower that you can choose not to color or in this case, I stamped it in basic black and colored it. I did the same for the leaves.  hope you like it.

Nature's Flowers

I designed this card using the Faith in Nature stamp set. I really love the blend of colors with the White lace border punch working nicely with my main image. I tied the satin ribbon with hemp and added a button that compliments my stamped flowers and the punched flowers. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

A little slow getting started this morning. My mood surely fits my card this morning, he, he! Kidding aside,  I think that this card makes a cute belated card for today's colors- Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, and Whisper White for my Neutral. I used the Perfect Pennant die cut frame, stamped the image in Whisper White and punch it using the 1-3/4 circle punch. I added ribbon, jumbo brad and glitter for embellishments. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

I love the idea of making digital images smaller or bigger to fit the size you wanted. This is especially true on this card. I made the cutout flower bigger than the background flowers. I colored it and popped it with dimensionals and added the brad in the center.  I printed the saying to the size of the 1-1/4" circle punch.  Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Sweet Summer

Here's a card that features eyelets- fun and easy embellishments that you can add in your card. When I first started making cards, I used eyelets and (brads) a lot. I used the stem from Sweet Summer and the flower eyelets for my main image and the houndstooth IF for my background. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Printed Petals

I always look for Simply Simple week where I can design cards in 10 minutes or less. I used the Printed Petals to design this card using the scallop circle punch and just cutting the small flower by hand. I used the scallop edge border punch on the background and main panel.  Hope you like it.

You're the Best



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Sunday !!!

It's hard to believe that you can just say to yourself that you are taking a break. That is basically what I did yesterday. I said no to housework and jus kicked back and did stuff that I have been wanting to do in a long time. I spent time with DH, my Mom, a bit in my stamp room and enjoyed every minute of it.
I think we all need it- just to breathe !!!
Anyway, I made this card using the Fabulous Florets. I love the 3-d effect that this stamp image make.
I stamped it in cardstock using Basic Black ink, cut it and popped it with dimensionals. Hope you like it.
