Don't Lose your Rubber Stamps!!!

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Wednesday !!!

I am showing off my very first rubber stamps in acrylic mounting. I also want to show you a tip once you put it together. Do not throw away the rubber where it was mounted. Use it to put your rubber stamps back, that way you do not lose them and you always know what stamp is missing. The rubberwhere it came from hold the stamps securely, so you won't lose your stamps. I thought this might be helpful if you are switching to rubber.

Check out the card that I did using the Vintage Labels set.

Fabulous Friend

Hello peeps !!!
Happy Saturday !!!
I had a super busy night at work and I should be going straight to bed, but I need a dose of stamping this morning. I kinda wanna want to unwind a bit. And don't you worry, I made this card last week, actually made 2 and gave one to my dear friend, Claire who is celebrating her birthday this February. So, I really did not do any stamping. The oval all stamp image was a nice addition to the main image, almost came with the set, don't you think?
I rarely used these two colors together but they kind of compliment each other.
Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Message for Mom, Oval All
Paper: Almost Amethyst, Pretty in PInk, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Markers
Accessories: pink satin ribbon, pearls
Tools: scallop trim border, piercing tool

Thinking of You Card

Hello Peeps!!!
Happy Firday !!!
I am getting a lot of practice using the 2 duos-Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner.
Click on the Occasions Mini if you want to see these punches.
This card shows off both punches. The measurement for the square white cardstock is just about 4". I did the corners first and worked my way around the cardstock, then I went around with my piercing tool. I added the Old Olive for the background and used the corner rounder and it worked out perfectly. and for my finishing touches-satin ribbon and pearls.
Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Simple Friendship
Paper: Whisper White, Groovy Guava, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, markers, Old Olive
Accessories: satin ribbon, pearls

Hope Scallop Tutorial

Hello Peeps !!!
Happy Thursday !!!
I have not much luck finding the tutorial for the layered scallop flower, so I decided to provide you with the tutorial. Thanks for the girls that e-mailed me asking for the tutorial, that was my motivation to do the tutorial. I even made a sample card and it is very simple to make. I decorated the corners with scallop trim corner.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Friend to Friend
Paper: Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Black
Accesories: satin ribbon, jumbo brad
Tools: scallop flower punch, Boho Blossom punch, scallop trim corner
Layered Scallop Tutoriall
Start by punching 4 scallop circle.

Cut the scallop in half.
I used a bone folder for easy folding. Fold 2 scallops together and you will have one extra scallop.

Here is the folded scallop (fan fold).

Alternate the colors of the scallop.
Punch 1-3/4" circle punch. I also puch the middle with 1/8 punch as guide and I can also used it in case I have to add embellishment.
Start putting together same color. I used glue dots to glue the scallop or if you prefer you can add glue to the circle itself. This is what it looks like put together.

Here is the finished flower. Add embellishment in the center.
Hope this is helpful. Have fun creating.

Time to Bloom

Hello peeps!!!
Happy Monday !!!
Good morning ! I had a slow start this morning. Too much partying last night with a couple of friends-good food and a few good laughs. We did not realize it was past midnight. It was worth it though and it was long overdue. The last time we saw each other was a year ago.
Anyway, for some new ideas and new tools.
This card was inspired by the new punches- scallop trim border and scallop corner punch. The square punches worked perfectly as far as the size of the scallop square. I also incorporated a sketch from Mojo Monday.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Bella's Bloom
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Old Olive
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Accessories: stitched Real Red ribbon, brads
Tools: circle punches, punches as above

Here's a little something to celebrate Love.

Re-Introducing LOVE
You don't see enough of it.
Not because it isn't around,
but because people aren't looking.
Stop for a moment and look,
It's there.
all you have to do is use it.
Send it with flowers to your girl.
Take it home to your wife.
Hand carry it to mother, or dad.
Wear it around the neighborhood.
Salute the flag with it.
Share it with the rest of the world.
Love is 100% better than hate.
It does things and it gets things done.
With less effort.
At no cost.
You never have to replace it.
Because you never run out of it.
Love keeps fresh.
24 hours a day.
And the funny thing about it is,
the more you give of it,
the more you get out of it.
LOVE.
Use it everyday
It works !!!
