MDS Tuesday

I am sharing a scrapbook page that I did- featuring our college reunion in the Philippines. The layout is a 12 x 12 template and I just embellish with Bright Blooms and hexagon DSP and cardstock. I added a stamp from Friendly Words and the rest is text. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 145





Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I have a few birthdays in my family this March, so I tried to create 2 cards using the Sweet Summer.
I decorated my background with the Honeycomb EF and the Delicate Designs EF. Just a little strip of the EF and it just add up to this simply simple cards. Hope you like them.

Here is a card I cased using the Madison Avenue stamp set. I saw this beautiful card from
Gayle's blog (Welcome to Stampingville). I just love how she added the cute button in the center.
I made just a few changes but I pretty much cased her design. I did change the colors a bit and add the Sweet Friend saying. Hope you like it.

Rain or Shine

Happy Friday !!!

I am finally slowly but surely getting back to my routine- woke up early today and started working on some projects. I finally got my pics from our trip organized, my stamp room cleaned, and planning to work on my taxes in the coming week.
Today, I am sharing a card that I did on my class. I used the Rain or Shine stamp set, added the cloudy day background and this beautiful DSP. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 139




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Thursday !!!

I made this card with these colors- Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray and Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla for my Neutral. I was supposed to play with these colors last month but did not get to post it. I used the EF for my background and also the DSP.  I framed my main image and added the bottle cap with the punched butterfly image. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

Here is a scrapbook page that I did for MDS.  This is one of the places that we visited in the Philippines. We flew to Palawan- a popular destination. I just captured a few pictures of the blue water and beautiful scenery. I kept the background simple, and just wanted to focus on the pics.

Consider It Cased

This set has been neglected and so I decided to use it today's Consider It Cased. I found this beautiful card from Gail's blog ( Stamping with Gail) using this set. I especially love how she layered the flowers. I did make a few changes to make the card my own- decided to used the DSP for the background and changed my colors. The flower trim was out in my stamp room so I decided to used it for my center. I sponged it using the Pool Party ink. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I finally got a chance to do some stamping today. Ever since I got back from our Philippines trip, I have been so super busy. I have been dealing with jet lag last week not to mention being back to work too soon, I think. Anyway, I am trying to get back to my normal schedule, stamping included.
Today's colors- Tempting Turquoise, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White for my Neutral. I used the hostess set Million-Dollar Moments that I think is way too cute. I added the cloud embossing and DSP papers.  Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 144



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I have always kept this set (retired) and so I decided to used it for today's Simply Simple card. I used
the Floral Frames framelit die for the front of the card and attached a small DSP strip for the front and inside of the card. I then stamped the sentiment on the DSP and finished it off with seam binding ribbon and pearls. Hope you like it.

I decided to case this beautiful card in Tammy's blog (Stamp with Tammy). I did make a few changes but I kept the layout pretty much the same. I used the Twitterpated DSP and Baja Breeze for my colors. I stamp the flowers and layered them with the scallop punch. Today's Playing with Colors-Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse and Whisper White. I used the Creative Elements stamp set for my background design, also used White Craft ink for my border. I stamped the butterfly then punched it. Hope you like it.

Here is another Simply Simple card for this week using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I did however used a ribbon instead of the sentiment. I used a piece of DSP for my background the new Vine Street EF. I ticket punch the corners and added eyelets for accents. Hope you like it.

In celebration of Valentine's Day just a few days away, I decided to make a sweet and simple design using the heart framelits. I picked the twitterpated DSP, mounted the saying  and finished it off with a ribbon bow. I put the tiny pearls on some of the flowers for accents. The background is an old EF that I found in my coleection. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 138

It's time for Playing with Colors- Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla. I found this color combo on Fab Friday. I used the stamp Thanks 3 times and I used the three colors. I accented my card with seam binding ribbon and designer brad/pearl. For the background, I used the stripes EF with ticket punch corners.  Hope you like it.

Simply Simple




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I did this card at my stamping class with a very simple theme. I did use two different backgrounds and a DSP. The main image was done by stamping it in Marina Mist and using the window frames collection die. I accented it with a flower using the small scallop punch. I used 3 scallops, squished it and held together with a brad. Hope you like it.

I saw this beautiful card from Becky's blog ( Stamp That) and I knew I had to cased it. I love the use of the Delicate Doilies. I did make a few changes to make it my own, changed the embellishments and the colors. I added a DSP in the background, too and it is hard to see but I did used the Needlepoint Border EF.  Hoep you like it.
