here is another card swap that I made for convention. I used 3 different strips and layered them together. I stamped the flower and then punched it out with the blossom punch. I added the center image and punched out the Itty Bitty Shape punch.  Hope you like it.

I will not be doing my normal post for the week. Instead, I will be showing the card swaps that I did for convention. They are very simple, clean and easily cased.  Here is one of the cards that I did.
I used the Peach Parfait ink for my flower and just punched it using the 1-1/4 circle punch. I added the Itty  Bitty Punch and embellish with pearl in the middle. The Crumb Cake strip was popped .

Apothecary Art

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Sunday !!!

We celebrated my oldest and my yopungest sons' bithdays yesterday and we had a great time. I sort of wonder where does the time go?  I remembered chasing them around the house, taking them to school, and teaching them their first ABC's and now they are so, so grown up. It was a family thing yesterday and another one of those memories that you capture in your heart...forever!!!
Anyway, today's post a card that I did using the Apothecary Art. It goes with the Faramlits Label Collections.  I stamped the image first, then I used the Framelits die. I added the pleated ribbon and the button with twine on it.  Hope you like it.

Need for Speed

Happy Friday !!!

Two of my boys are celebrating their birthdays this month and I came up with these Need For Speed cards that are done in 3-d. I stamped the images and then stamp them again in a white scrap, cut what I just wanted in 3-d and mounted them with dimensionals. Click the picture for a closer look.  I used brads for the wheels and crystal effects.  Hope you like them.

Stampin' Up Fresh Vintage

For today's Playing with Colors- Melon Mambo , Early Espresso and Whisper White came from Kristy (Stampin' with Kristy). I used the Fresh Vintage stamp set from the Sale-a-bration. I stamped the main image in Early Espresso,and added the Itty Bitty Shapes punch flowers.  I also added the square frame and carried the punch flower int the image. Hope you like it.

I am a bit late posting today-trying to keep up with some swaps that I am working on.  I designed this card using the lace border punch. I used the Pattern DSP to coordinate with the stamp image. I am really enjoying using the blossom punch that coordinates with this stamp set. I added  the ribbon panel and the new pleated ribbon. This twitterpated designer button is so cute I can't resist adding it to my card.  Hope you like it.

Here is a card that I did using the MDS and the Summer Solstice stamp set.  I used the Adorning Accents for border,  the square lattice for the background panel. I really enjoyed these color combo and the new designer brad from the Sale-a-bration.  Hope you like it.

For something Simply Simple, I designed this card by using the extra large circle punch and
placing my main image in the inside. I used the Scallop Hearts of heart and added the Hearts Collection Framelits die.  I used the Pattern DSP and polka dot ribbon for the front and stamp the sentiment.  Hope you like it.

I am in a slow motion mode today and just can't seem to get started on a project. I finally did finish this card using the Mixed Bunch from the Occasions Mini. The nice thing about this set is that it comes with the punch- how cool is that !  I added Dazzling Details to my flower and a button for the center. Hope you like it.

Bordering on Romance

Here is a card that I did using the new stamp set from the Occasions Mini- Bordering Romance.
I did paper piecing on the flowers using Pretty in Pink Pattern DSP and did coloring on the leaves and the small flowers and buds. I then used the dots stamp image and used the edgelit dies for border.
The sentiment is from the Field Flowers.  Hope you like it.

The ATC in the botom and the card I made with the ATC.  My original ribbon was a white and red stripe grosgrain but then I changed it the last minute to coordinate with my DSP. I also used the Pretty in Pink DSP for my background panel to tie everything together. Hope you like it.

I am sharing a card today using the MDS- Thoughts and Prayers stamp brush set.  I used also this beautiful background, added the Itty Bitty shapes punch and decorated ot with pearls in the center.
For the background, I used the Basic Gray and Calpso Coral c/s and run them into the Big Shot using the stripes EF. The sentiment in this card was stamped. Hope you like it.

Here is today's post for Simply Simple using the Sweet Buttons sizzlit.  What a wonderfulw ay to decorate your cards. I stamped the Posy Punch stamp image in Island Indigo and created a row of die cut buttons. I then added the punched circle sentiment. For the background, I added the Fancy Fan Letterpress Folder.  Hope you like it.
