Limited Supply Challenge #157
My computer is up and running again, thank
goodness! I thought I was going to spend another day without an internet connection.
Today's challenge is using only a flower and a sentiment.
Stamps: one flower stamp (sentiment optional)No designer paper
No Cuttlebug
No background stamps
Any embellishments
No Rub-ons ... except for sentiments
Here is the card that I came up with. I wanted to add definition to my rose and I thought I do some layering ang tearing effect. The rose was stamped
3 times on Whisper White paper, and just literally do some tearing. I stamped another flower for my main paper and stamped the leaves. I did some distressing for my layers then using the Aqua Painter, I went over the distressed edges with Going Gray.
Thanks for stopping by.

You and ME
Sketch Challenge #165
Have you ever use Rub-Ons? First time ever for me. I have a lot to learn before I finally got it right. Here are a few tips and to learn from my mistakes, lol. Always trim the portion that you just need. Make sure you rub really good before peeling.
Today's sketch is quite interesting. I wanted to use the rub-ons for the sketch today as my focal point. I used this beautiful set Kind Thoughts that is a must have. the intricate design makes it a nice background and this solid butterfly is really cute. I get too much sunlight in my stamp room, so my butterflies get so much light. I am beginning to be comfortable doing this poofy ribbons.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Kind Thoughts
Paper: Textured Blue bayou, Sage Shadow, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Balck, White Craft
Accessories: Narrow White Organdy Ribbon, DS ribbon, Brads, Rub-Ons

Celebrate Spring
Featured Stamper #55
I was kinda tired today after working last night but I
wanted to do a quick card for today's FS, MaryJo who has
an awesome gallery and creations that are uniquely her

I used metal tags for my squares and did my sentiment on each. The DSP Spring Break background were just the perfect colors I needed to finished my card.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Everyday Flexible Phrases, Solitude SA wheel
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic Black, Whisper White, Speing Break DSP
Ink: Basic Black, White Craft, White Gel Pen
Accessories: Fusion Flowers, Brads, 5/8 old Olive Grossgrain Ribbon, Metal tags
Tools: Window Punch, Dimensionals, X-acto knife

Time for You
Inspiration Challenge #116
You want to hear something funny and why I am posting this IC late (for me). I thought that today is FS challenge and I keep checking for Sunday. I keep saying Oh My, somebody must have forgotten about the challenge. Well , it was me all along. Nobody forgot, it was me thinking on of the wrong day. Anyway, here is the IC for today. I got inspired by the bench, the flowers amd the bird and thought about this set that I got at the Regionals. I won it for the Door Prize. How cool is that? The main image was stamped twice, I trim the bench seat and back part and raised in dimensionals. The clock was punched with Circles. I really did not have much room for the actual clock , so I altered it a bit.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Time for You
Paper: Real Red, Certainly Celery, Close
to Cocoa, Whisper White, Celery DSP
Ink: White Craft, Certainly Celery, Real Red, Close to Cocoa, Staz-On Black, White Gel Pen
Accessories: Brads, Striped Red/ White Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds
Tools: 3/4", 1" Circle Punches, Non SU Circle Punch, 1/16 Ounch, 1/4 Punch, Glue Pen
I used the 1/4" Circle Punch for the clock's base.

3-D Frame Tutorial
Supplies for the 3-D Frame:
Paper Cutter
X-acto Knife
Scoring Tool
Ruler
Pic. 1. For this tutorial, I chose not to stamp the
image, so you will see it clearly. Start with a
41/4 x 51/2 paper. I used a 21/2 by 21/2
Post-it-Note to mark the dots fo my corner.
I only used the Gel pen so you can visibly see it.
Otherwise, use a pencil so you can erase it after.
Pic.2. Score the sides using a ruler and a
Scroring tool.

I have learned this frame from convention a

bit of paper piecing for my main frame and
water coloring using Aqua Painter, and added
the stickles last. What good is a frame without
the Photo Corners, so I added that, too.

Blush Blossom
Sketch Challenge #164
I love a great sketch and I think the sketch for today is just awesome. I knew that Bloomin' Beautiful is just the right set for today. I picked out the colors for this card-Chocolate Chip, Groovy Guava and Blush Blossom. I even use the Blush Blossom for my Neutral. I stamped the flower on Staz-On ink, used the Blush Blosssom for the background and also on the flower. I went over the flower with the Groovy Guava, coloring it darker for a shadow effect. I did the same thing for the leaves, lighter color first and then darker. I use the Spritzer tool using Chocolate Chip marker for a distressed effect. I distressed all my panels using the Cutter's tool kit. The Chocolate satin ribbon is my overall finishing touch on this card.

Stamps Mounted in Dominoes
A Little Bit of Happiness
Mr. Brown guy dropped me this box last night, that contains Stamps, Stamps and Stamps.
So what is a woman to do but to put them together.
This is one of the sets that I am dying to use.
However, before I can use it, I have to mount it first. They showed this set at the Regionals and she have them mounted in Dominoes. How cool is that?
I was a little skeptical, because I really didn't want to trim my rubber image but it actually worked. You just have to be super careful. I made 20 individual Dominoes.
Mounting Instructions:

I was a little skeptical, because I really didn't want to trim my rubber image but it actually worked. You just have to be super careful. I made 20 individual Dominoes.
Mounting Instructions:
- The domino has this metal pin around the center and you wanted to make sure you take it out, so when you mount your image it will stay flat.
- Trim your rubber using the Rubber Scissors and be extra careful.
- Mount the rubber on the side where the dots are. (see pic).
- Make card samples, (hopefully tomorrow).
Beautiful Life
Color Challenge #154
Good Morning ! I wanted to start my day with these cheery colors from the Color Challenge -Orchid Opulence, Pumpkin Pie, and Certainly Celery. I struggled a bit with the Orchid Opulence. It's a beautiful color but it is just hard to combine it with some colors. As you could see, I did not even attempt to used the paper, maybe I did a little bit on the sentiment. The main flowers were trim, sponged and stickled at the end. I also added those circles and put brads on them for some added dimension. I used two DSP backgrounds-Bali Breeze DSP and Celery DSP. The main background was done using the Boho BG, only halfway though for symmetry.

You Make Me Happy
Try a New Tehnique #156
Happy Monday everyone! I can't believe my weekend
went by so fast and can't even remember if I actually
accomplished anything.
I have a Demonstartor meeting for Thursday and I am in -charge of the Make and Take. I am doing the Envelope Pouch that I saw at the Regionals. Today's TLC is making this same pouch, how cool is that. This is not the design I have for Thursday, but I thought it will be a super cool idea to make other samples and show them other designs to make it. I will post my Envelope pouch on Friday. This was so easy to make just using your large tag Punch. Here is the tutorial for it. Since the One of a Kind and the Boho Blossoms Punch are both available for ordering, I used it for my project. I did some paper piecing on the main flower using the Berry Bliss DSP. The three flowers were done using the Blossom Punch using the same DSP. The background and the sentiment were from the Boho Backgrounds set. I was a little disappointed that the saying did not fit the Window Punch. It would have been nice to use it. I tied the grosgrain ribbon to finished this project.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: One of a Kind, Boho Backgrounds
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, DSP Berry Bliss
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Accessories: 5/8 grosgrain ribbon,BAB, Brads, Hemp, Vanilla Envelope
Tools: Boho Blossoms Punch, Slit Punch, 1/16 Punch, Dimensionals , Large Tag Punch
Contact your SU demo or Contact me to see how you can order the Boho Punch Blossoms and the One of a Kind set.

Basketful of Goodies
Basket Cased
I made this basket from a tutorial from Laura's (Wish You Were Here)blog. Click here to see how she made this beautiful basket. Thanks Laura for a wonderful tutorial.
I had a little difficulty getting the weave started but after that it kinda started to take it shape. I used the set from Time Well Spent.
I used the Scallop Punch for my flower and colored with Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue.
I added the button and used a skinny strip of Certainly Celery to thread it on the button hole, then used glue dot.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Time Well Spent
Paper: Certainly Celery, True Thyme (retired)
Ink: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Distresssing pad
Accessories: Brad Flowers, DS Ribbon, Buttton
Tools: Paper Cutter, Gkue dots, Dimensionals
