I really think that this MDS Sunflower is beautiful. I just printed it using the Summer Starfruit ink. added the Vintage faceted button in the center and mounted it in Basic Gray paper. I used the Framed Tulips EF background and added 2 strips of ribbon. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up From My Heart

Happy Monday !!!
Hope everyone's weekend was wonderful. I have been busy working on some swaps and getting ready for my class this coming Wednesday. I have quite a bit more on my plate today but it's time to just do a quick post and drink a cup of coffee. This stamp image is from a new set called From My Heart on pg. 139 of the new catty. I used the Label framelit, mounted it on the new Apothecary Accents framelit. I finished it off with the Fancy Fold EF background and a ruffled ribbon bow.

Betsy's Blossoms

Just a quick post this morning using Betsy's Blossoms. I found this Regal Rose retired wide double stitched ribbon that made the perfect addition. It almost is the same color of the Primrose Petals so i decided to use it. The sentiment was stamped on the side and I added the scallop border on the bottom. Hope you like it.

I simply adore the colors she used, so I cased that as well adding the Crumb Cake cardstock and changing a bit of the design and layout. Hope you like it.

I wanted to share a card that I did for a demo swap- using new stamp set from the catty. I really like this set and thinking of using it for my convention swap with just a few minor changes. I used the Primrose Petals and Midnight Muse colors. For the border, I used the Finishing Touches edgelits which is new in the book. Hope you like it.

I made this masculine card but I thought it would be a perfect idea for July 4th. My inspiration for this card came from Pam B, one of our talented stamper in the group. I just did banner strip using DSP and used the star punch and the small star punch. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

Here is a fun page that I think you will love using MDS. I started with the Grid Basic Gray background with 60% opacity. I used DSP and cardstocks for the circles ( Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red and Peach parfait DSP) and just did a some embellishments on the circles. I also did a black and white page to compliment my background.

If you enjoy a simple layout, then this is the card for you. I stamped the doily images in the background randomly. I stamped the main doliy in Whisper White paper, punched the image using the scallop circle punch and layered it with the large scallop circle. Hope you like it.

Moving Forward

What do you think of today's Playing with Colors? Jean and I are using Island Indigo, Real Red and
Basic Gray this week. I picked Whisper White for my Neutral.I stamped the image in Island Indigo and added the cute eyelets. I miss using eyelets- i think they are fun and such nice easy embellishment. I added a teensy weensy glitter on the center of flowers. You ahve to use your microscope to see it. Hope you like it.

So Sorry

I finally got to inked up a new stamp set Blissful Bird and the So Sorry stamp set. There's 9 sayings that goes with the So Sorry sentiment, make sure you check it out. The bird and the wing I punched and the leaves I decide to cut by hand. I added the lace border below and embellished with a grosgrain ribbon and button. Hope you like it.

I really enjoy making simple scrapbook page layout from the MDS. I just designed the background with shade of greens and minimal embellishment. I also used the Days to Remember stamp brush set to create the swirl background. I just filled in the pictures using the photo box and

I hope everyone's weekend was wonderful. It was a short weeknd, did not get the things that I wanted to do but I got a a few things accomplished.
Today's card is clean and simple-using Betsy' Blossoms. It happens to be one of my fav sstamp set in the catty. I stamped the flowers and punched them with 1-1/4" circle punch. I used the Itty Bitty Shapes punch for the center flowers and added brads. Hope you like it.

I have a few minutes to post and can't wait to show you these cute bookmarks that I had made using the Carry On stamp set. I could not use one particular stamp image but the rest was okay to use, so I hope you like them. I used these yummy In Colors and DSP, also embellish with the satin ribbon and Cherry Cobbler/White twine. The jumbo eyelets are retired but they make a beautiful addition.

I really enjoyed casing this card from Eldonna's blog ( Stamping with Eldonna) using the Moving
Forward stamp set. I love how she framed the main image. I did a few changes- using a bottom DSP,adding a scallop diecut and changing the sentiment placement. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 108

Happy Thursday !!!
Today will be a relaxing day for me. The past 2 days I have been reaaranging and cleaning in my stamp room. I got rid of a lot of stuff that I basically do not need. I am also getting rid of retired stamp sets that have been in my storage untouched and will be putting it in my blog. Stay tuned.
Today's card was done using the colors- Tempting Turquoise, Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette, and
Whisper White for my Neutral. I used a new butterfly stamp set with the coordinating elegant butterfly punch. Hope you like it.
