Happy Monday !!!

I am getting a little breather today after a busy last week.  I was actually able to have a relaxing day yesterday with my DH. We watched the White Christmas and had a wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant- something I had been looking forward to. 
Today's Simply Simple card -I used the Berry Christmas stamp set.  I love the River Rock color and Cherry Cobbler together. I added rhinestones for my wreath accents. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased 81

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

It has been a super duper busy week for me not to mention my DH having surgery yesterday.  He had a broken tib/fib 6 months ago and they had to take the screws out yesterday. He is doing very well except for the pain of course.
Today's cased is from Shirley's blog  So Creative Cards with her beautiful card using the Bells and Boughs stamp set. I cased her square layout and instead of the DSP in the background, I stamped the holly and cut it. I was originally going to put it on the side but I changed my mind the last minute and turned the card long ways. The sentiment is from MDS. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 80

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday!!!

I meant to post this yesterday for Playing with Colors. The color combo is from Krysta- Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, and Whisper White.  I really enjoyed working on these colors and they are perfect for birthdays like this one.  I added the Perfect polka dots EF for the background.  I used the Perfect Pennants for my main image, added the cake stamp and did a bit of paper piecing and coloring.  Hope you like it.

Here is a nother Christmas card using a retired set that I really enjoyed using. I layered the trees creating a 3-d effect in Real Red and Always Artichoke colors.  I kinda like the color combo on this one.  I used the Pretty Petals EF in the background and tied it to the main frame with a grosgrain ribbon. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

I lost track of time today- was trying to get set up for tomorrow's class.  Anyway I have this card using MDS- Autumn Elements Stamp brush set and really loved it. I love the swirls that you can used for the background. I will try to play more with it but this was my first time time to used it.

Today's post is for Simply Simple week using the Serene Snowflakes. I just stamped the snowflakes in Night of Navy, added the Jelly roll pen for a bit of sparkle. I did do a 3-d effect on one of the snowflakes and used rhinestones in the center.  Hope you like it.

Fa La La Christmas

I thought I'd share these cute cards that you can give for the holidays.  I just had so much fun making them. I made simple backgrounds, colored the tree, snowman, and the ornament and added the Crystal Effects first then added the sparkle.  I of course mounted them with dimensionals. Hope you like them.

Consider It Cased

I was really inspired by today's card from Cindy's blog ( Stamping Guru) using the Merry and Type stamp set.  I just love how she did her design. I made afew changes, moving the postage image on the left but keeping the design elements. I added brushed gold in my background, added the satin ribbon, brads and used jelly roll to make my ornaments sparkle. Hope you like it.

Beautiful Season

Thank goodness it's Friday!!!  I finally got  a few days off and get some stamping done.  I hope you like today's post using the Beautiful Season stamp set which is becoming one of my favorites this holiday season.  I did quite a bit of coloring but enjoyed it really.  The Dazzling Deyails really put a sparkle into these berries. I used some polka dots in my background and for my accent.

I made this fun and cute Christmas card for MDS Tuesday using the Winter Post for the snowflake. I just can't seem to locate where I got the ornament. I used Delightful Decorations for the other punched ornament.  I added the organdy ribbon, the silver cord and rhinestones for embllishments.

Simply Simple

It has been a prettybusy and fun weekend for me. I just wanted to relax yesterday and do some stamping. I did just that minus the relaxing. I was working on my December tutorial. I was happy to have that accomplished and can't wait to show it to to you. 
Today's card is really cute and simple. I stamped the image on Baja Breeze using Marina Mist ink. I added the sentiment stamping it in Marina Mist color. I finished it off using rhinestones and organdy ribbon. Hope you like it.

Raining Flowers

Happy Sunday !!!

Yesterday was my Mom's Suprprise Birthday Party.  Her birthday was the 25th and she turned 80.
Needless to say, she was surprised; so was my Aunt who also celebrated her 80th. We celebrated with
good food, good company,and a lot of laughs just getting them in my niece's house without spoiling the surprise.

THANKS A MILLION to all the birthday cards that she received on her special 80th birthday. My Mom and I appreciate what you have done to make her day so memorable. She was so excited to recieved the cards in the mail everyday from all over the US, Canada, Australia, France, and UK for the last how many weeks.  You had just give her the most wonderful present that she will surely treasure. I still do not have the final count on the birthday cards she got but I am hoping the count will make it to 80.  
I made this for you especially using the Raining Flowers stamp set.  I stamped the flowers in Whisper White ink on Cherry Cobbler c/s, added the punched flowers an dembellished with mini brads.
I added the scallop dots ribbon and also did piercing on top of my main image. Hope you like it.

I woke up early today and manage to stay home for Black Friday.  I decided to work on my post today using the Comfort and Joy stamp set.  I stamped the design in Night of Navy, stamped it again and did a 3-d on the dove. I found this wonderful sentiment and thought it was perfect for this set.

Playing with Colors 79 and Happy Thanksgiving

I am sure everyone is busy preparing a feast today.  Let me just wish you and your family a wonderful and blessed thanksgiving.  I, for one have a lot to be thankful for today and will be sharing a bountiful feast with my family. My Dh already has the bird in the oven and I will be doing the fixings.  My kids are looking forward to my creamed corn, green bean and potato casserole.  I also plan to make apineapple banana dessert and leche flan for the occasion. 
Today's card is really simple and the Color combo is from anonymous that commented on my blog anniversary. Her favorite color combo- Baja Breeze and Early espresso and I used Whisper White for my Neutral.  Hope you like it.
