Good morning to all !!! I am actually enjoying my day doing the challenges from yesterday and today. Today's challenge is using colored pencils which I used for the flowers. My dear friend Cheryl just handed me a container with Gamsol and it sure came in handy for today's challenge.

I also used some of the In Colors papers which I think complimented this cute and simple card.

Style Watch

I was inspired by some projects that I used in my Open House by incorporating the Style Watch Eastern Eclectic in the new Fall-Winter 2008-2009 Collection. I just love how these colors coordinate together.

I love the beautiful floral patterns of the stamp sets that reflects a certain Asian influence and the elegance that it brings to your projects.

Coordinating Colors are Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, So Saffron, Very Vanilla and Old Olive.

Coordinating Stamp Sets are Eastern Influence, Stitched Exotics, A Beautiful Thing, Eastern Blooms, Embrace Life.

Cup of Tea

I coordinated the tea bag holder to coordinate
with my cup using the So Saffron, Tangerine Tango , Very Vanilla and Old Olive. I used the 1/2 inch Circle punch for the flowers and mounted them in dimensionals. I just love the Scallop Edge punch that gave this tea bag the bottom accent it needed.

The tea bag holder was tweak to fit the

size of the cup, scored and folded.











5- Petal Flower Card

This is a very simple card incorporating the 5-petal punch flower and using the Eastern Blooms set.

Ink: Old Olive, Tangerine Tango

SO Glad

This is another card that is really easy and fun to make using the Square Scallop punch. I stamped the image first on Whisper White paper,
then used the Square punch. I used the same paper and glued it to the Tangerine Tango paper.
Again, the Scallop Edge punch makes a cute and quick border.

Candle Gift
This is just a bowl that I used to fill it with candles and incense cones. It makes a wonderful gift for fall and who doesn't like candles?

This is another really easy way to add a little
design to your table. I used the Circle punches
and the Pretties pearl for accent.

I'm Back and Totally...

Inspired !!! I have been really wanting to do some posting but work always get in the way. You know how that is. I even have a few inquiring minds asked me if I am okay. That is just so, so, so sweeeet !!!. Thanks for your patience. I hope today's post and the upcoming ones will make up for my absence.

Let me just start by sharing you

Stampin'UP's Statement of the Heart. I got this poster at the convention and I have the perfect spot for it in my stamping room.

Here is my own version of the Statement of the Heart_ To instill a little creativity in others and to enjoy the gift of creating is a worthy accomplishment.

Yes, I have and it is not even like me. I have all these projects I have been working on and have not been able to find the time to post them.


I have been so inspired with the recent Stampin'UP convention; even getting ready for my Open House to preview the new Fall/Winter catalog. I can't wait to show them to you.





Every year, I look forward to going to convention because every year I come home with lots of ideas and inspiration. Have you seen the new stamp sets and accessories? Who wouldn't be inspired? The Big Shot from Sizzix, the new Scallop Square, Scallop Edge and Wide Oval punches are just some of the new gadgets that I can't wait to get my hands on. What about the papers?The darling Designer Series Papers and the In Colors cardstocks that will surely make every card POP with just the right embellishment, be it a ribbon, a clip or a stylish brad. I also love the selection of Rub-Ons that they are offering in the catalog- pretty cool, huh ? I can just go on and on, so I am just going to let you feast your eyes on the new catalog because :

Gift Card Holder

A Different Kind of Fold
I designed this card for a convention swap that I signed
up for. This is a new set from the Fall/Winter Collection that I got called Party Hearty. The letter B for birthday was stamped in White craft pad using Real Red paper. I punched the present image using the 3/4 " circle punch and mounted it in dimensional. I wanted to add the red brads on the sides, so I used the 1/4" circle punch and glued them underneath the brads to emphasize them better. The background was stamped repeatedly in White Craft pad.

I love how these paper clips turned out using the set Party Hearty from Stampin' UP from the new Fall/Winter Collection .
I also used the In Colors-Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss.

Actually, I have been busy doing "major" stamping for convention and have not really taken the time to post, not to mention work which takes pretty much of my time, house chores and did I mention work. I finally took the time to do some SCS stamping today, and was able to do two challenges. I used the colors from yesterday CC and got to do today's sketch. I was able to used my new set

Happy Friday !!!
Whatever you have plan for the weekend, have fun and stay "COOL". Today's challenge is to
make a card with a "Summer" theme. I thought this stamp from H & M Stamps will be the perfect choice. We have to used limited layers, which I kept to a minimum, added layers to my frame to emphasize my distressed look. I used brads for embellishment and added the cork for the "sand" for texture.
