Happy Thursday !!!

I finally got a chance to stamp today with very little interruption. I even got to enjoy a cup of coffee this morning and house is quiet, for a change. I wanted to share this card -using Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze, Early espresso, and for my Neutral Whisper White. I used non traditional colors for this Christmas card, what do yoy think?

I did a scrapbook page for my Mom who celebrated her birthday last weekend. I thought I'd share it with you. I used a designer 12 x 12 " template and just added the pictures. It was done in less than 15 minutes.  I hope you like it. I used the You're a Gem stamp brush set and the Autumn Elements stamp brush set.

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

Hope everyone's weekend was wonderful. Yesterday we celebrated my Mom's birthday and spent the weekend with her in Tucson. We treated her to a wonderful lunch at Beyond Bread-
the Reuben sandwich was so, so good, not to mention  the carrot cake for dessert.
We did a bit of shopping and spent the night at the Starr Pass Resort. Before we left, we stoppeb by  at the Blue Willow and had a hearty breakfast- chicken avocado swiss cheese omelette and a fresh fruit crepe to go with it.
Today's card is for Simply Simple week- using the Holiday Frame EF which compliments the Ornamnet Keepsakes stamp set. I added the satin ribbon and pearl for embellishment. I kep everything monochromatic. Hope you like it.

I love this beautiful card from Lynn's blog ( Stamping with Lynn) using The Friendship Preserves. I made a few changes on mine but the layout is pretty much the same. I added the woodgrain background, and the natural twill, button/twine for my embellsihment. I also did piercing around the Window Frames collection and did faux stitching. You know how I feel about distressing. Hope it turned out okay.

I woke up early today with a list of things to do- mainly staying in the kitchen and doing some cooking. I just have my family and a few relatives coming since I have to work tonight.
My DH does most of the cooking really. I have never cook a turkey in my life. I just can't bring myself to try. Anyway, hope you enjoy this time with your family and friends and the blessings of

Eastern Blooms

Just a quick post today before I go to bed. I did this card using the Eastern Blooms. The flowers were stamped in Calypso Coral, added pearls in the center and mounted with dimensionals. I used DSP in the background and the tasteful trim scallop border. Hope you like it.

I do not think I will ever get tired of using the MDS Thoughts and Prayers stamp brush set. I used 3 trees for this card and chose Crumb Cake, More Mustard and early Espresso colors. I thought it would be perfect for a masculine card. Hope you like it.

Wonderful Day

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

What a perfect day to celebrate my special day- started out with a hearty breakfast with my kids and the rest of the family. I had the best Pumpkin Pancakes for breakfast, over medium eggs, bacon and cinnamon apples on the side...and coffee, coffee, coffee. I had been partying since yesterday-went to lunch with my oldest son and his family yesterday and got to spent time with Cade-a-rooni , a movie with my DH ( sat with my BFF who happened to be in the same movie that we planned to watch) and then went to cosmic BINGO which was a lot of fun. My number came out a lot (18) last night. and this afternoon, a broadway show (Anything Goes) with my DH.
And the presents- WOW!!! pink roses from my sweet brother and guess what- a new camera from my kids that I had been wanting so bad.  I can't wait to use it !!!! Anf of course more presents.....

I am having a wonderful day... and thank you for a wonderfully wonderful family and friends that remembered my birthday!!!!! muuuuah !!!!

Perfectly Preserved

This card was inspired by a card  that I did in a class a couple of months ago- using the Perfectly Preserved stamp set. I stamped the jar and outlined it with Blush Blossom marker, stamped the stem and the flowers in Primrose ink. I love the woodgrain background and the cute sentiment  that wrapped around the jar with  Baker's twine.  Hope you like it.

Perfectly Preserved

I wanted to share this card and the mason jar with scalloped design. One of the girls I work with (Joleen) surprise me with the best apple butter that used to be on this jar. I cleaned it up and placed the scallop topper. I thought she could use it for a gift giving ideas. The card was simply done using the jar that was diecut with the thank you sentiment.  Hope she likes it.

I cased this card on Pinterest using the Just Believe stamp set. I could not find the link who made this beautiful card, but just the same I wanted to give her due credit.  I did the reverse piercing in the background, stamped the image and stamp off to achieve the subtle silhouette. I embellished with brads and poly-stitched ribbon. Hope you like it.
