It has been a while since I did a scrapbook page using the MDS, so today I decided to do a page.
This picture I borrowed from my son's girlfriend- her niece Taylor who is just absolutely precious.
I did a custom on the background and love the effect. I used the Jumbo Outline alphabet and the Sweetness Unlimited stamp set. I added the daisies and the striped ribbon. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 88

i made two Simply Simple cards for Valentine's. it is basically the same concept where I punched on the cardstock using the heart punch and placed the DSP behind. I just realized that I did not really do any stamping in these cards. The strip is a digital that I used as border. Hope you like them both.

Consider It Cased 87

Can you already tell one of my favorite stamp sets from the Occasions Mini? I am really enjoying using this Bordering on Romance stamp set and I am not the only one. My inspiration came from Natasha's blog ( Inking Out of the Box) who used this set to make not one but three beautiful cards. I cased the third one with minor changes. I added the circle frame down the bottom and instead of DSP, I just used the striped ribbon.
I also embellished with eyelets- still my all time fav accent. I added the adorning accents EF and edgelit which make a cute border. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Elementary Elegance

It is so easy to create with this lovely Fresh Vintage and Elementary Elegance stamp set from the Sale-a-bration. I used the Pennant diecut for my main image and I used the dainty ribbon and loop it around the holes. I wanted accentuate the ribbon, so I added a punched circle behind. Hope you like it. For yesterday's project, you have been asking about how I curled the ribbon, It is really simple since I learned it at convention- just used your scissors to curl it. I did it on my project today, too.

Stampin' Up Summer Solstice

What do you think of these colors for today- Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Whisper White for my Neutral. The colors were picked from the Sale-a-bration. You're My Type

Everything is pretty much unpack, washed and cleaned up in my stamp room. You should have seen it before I left- a major disaster. I am still pretty tired, so I am taking it easy.
I do have one card to show you that I did using the You're My Type stamp set. I did quite a bit of distressing- on the DSP and on my main frame. I just love this pleated ribbon that I have been using it a lot on my cards. The twine makes a cute accent , too. Hope you like it.

I bet you all wanted to hear about my leadership trip in San Antonio. To describe the whole trip-
FABULOUS !!!! It was business with pleasure and much much more. There are some exciting changes happening with Stampin' UP and you will find out soon enough.

WOW!!!! I must say going to leadership really energized you !!!!! Lots of ideas and inspirations
to take home. We have one more big day tomorrow- regionals!!!. We decided to stay another extra day and make the most of it. Anyway, here is a card that I made fr my demo swap using the new stamp Take it to Heart from the Occasions Mini. I did piercing around the heart and used the Framelits Heart Collections. The mini brads worked wonderfully to ccent the bike. Hope you like it.

Jean and I are enjoying what San Antonio has to offer- good food, beautiful scenery
and almost a perfect weather. We did have issues with direction a couple of times but
we did find our way.
Today's design is supposedly one of my convention swaps minus the ribbon, but I just did not get to make it ahead of time :(. Anyway, I thought I'd share it with you.

Easy Events

Here is another cute and easy card that I did at convention. I used the Easy Events stamp
set. I stamped the image first thaen used the circle punch. The coloring was done using blender pen and aqua painter. The main background was done using the square lattice EF. Hope you like it.

here is another card swap that I made for convention. I used 3 different strips and layered them together. I stamped the flower and then punched it out with the blossom punch. I added the center image and punched out the Itty Bitty Shape punch. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Kindness Matters

I will not be doing my normal post for the week. Instead, I will be showing the card swaps that I did for convention. They are very simple, clean and easily cased. Here is one of the cards that I did.
I used the Peach Parfait ink for my flower and just punched it using the 1-1/4 circle punch. I added the Itty Bitty Punch and embellish with pearl in the middle. The Crumb Cake strip was popped .

Apothecary Art

Happy Sunday !!!
We celebrated my oldest and my yopungest sons' bithdays yesterday and we had a great time. I sort of wonder where does the time go? I remembered chasing them around the house, taking them to school, and teaching them their first ABC's and now they are so, so grown up. It was a family thing yesterday and another one of those memories that you capture in your heart...forever!!!
Anyway, today's post a card that I did using the Apothecary Art. It goes with the Faramlits Label Collections. I stamped the image first, then I used the Framelits die. I added the pleated ribbon and the button with twine on it. Hope you like it.

Need for Speed

Two of my boys are celebrating their birthdays this month and I came up with these Need For Speed cards that are done in 3-d. I stamped the images and then stamp them again in a white scrap, cut what I just wanted in 3-d and mounted them with dimensionals. Click the picture for a closer look. I used brads for the wheels and crystal effects. Hope you like them.
