Simply Simple 144



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I have always kept this set (retired) and so I decided to used it for today's Simply Simple card. I used
the Floral Frames framelit die for the front of the card and attached a small DSP strip for the front and inside of the card. I then stamped the sentiment on the DSP and finished it off with seam binding ribbon and pearls. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Lacy and Lovely



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

I decided to case this beautiful card in Tammy's blog (Stamp with Tammy). I did make a few changes but I kept the layout pretty much the same. I used the Twitterpated DSP and Baja Breeze for my colors. I stamp the flowers and layered them with the scallop punch. Playing with Colors 140

Today's Playing with Colors-Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse and Whisper White. I used the Creative Elements stamp set for my background design, also used White Craft ink for my border. I stamped the butterfly then punched it. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 143

Here is another Simply Simple card for this week using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I did however used a ribbon instead of the sentiment. I used a piece of DSP for my background the new Vine Street EF. I ticket punch the corners and added eyelets for accents. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 142




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

In celebration of Valentine's Day just a few days away, I decided to make a sweet and simple design using the heart framelits. I picked the twitterpated DSP, mounted the saying  and finished it off with a ribbon bow. I put the tiny pearls on some of the flowers for accents. The background is an old EF that I found in my coleection. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 138




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Thursday !!!

It's time for Playing with Colors- Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla. I found this color combo on Fab Friday. I used the stamp Thanks 3 times and I used the three colors. I accented my card with seam binding ribbon and designer brad/pearl. For the background, I used the stripes EF with ticket punch corners.  Hope you like it.

Simply Simple




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I did this card at my stamping class with a very simple theme. I did use two different backgrounds and a DSP. The main image was done by stamping it in Marina Mist and using the window frames collection die. I accented it with a flower using the small scallop punch. I used 3 scallops, squished it and held together with a brad. Hope you like it.

I saw this beautiful card from Becky's blog ( Stamp That) and I knew I had to cased it. I love the use of the Delicate Doilies. I did make a few changes to make it my own, changed the embellishments and the colors. I added a DSP in the background, too and it is hard to see but I did used the Needlepoint Border EF.  Hoep you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

Today's Playing with Colors- Pool Party, Real Red, Primrose Petals  and I used Very Vanilla for my Neutral color. I am playing the colors from Nacho Average Challenge.  I started with the honeycom background, then i cut the DSP in the shapes of honeycomb and gllued them in the background. I stamped the flowers from the Secret Garden and accented with a [polka dot ribbon and organza ribbon. Hope you like it.

From This To This- A Second Look at ATC

Happy Wednesday !!!

I feel better today knowing that I have a few days off before our trip. I get to catch up on some stuff that I have going.
Today's card is an ATC swap that I made for the group- using the Patterned Occasions from the Sale-a-bration. I embossed first thaen I stamped the image. I added the Baker's twine and then punched a heart and held it with a glue dot. The card was done using 3 strips of cardstock that I embossed, layered it in the background and added a piece of DSP. Hope you like it.

I saw this cute sketch on Freshly Made Sketches and decided to used it for my Simply Simple card.
I used scallops, all3 of them and accented my flowers with buttons. I used the pleated ribbon and mouted the saying just above it. Hope you like it.

The weather today is perfect for just staying in bed- wet and gloomy outside. I really do need some sleep today after a very busy 2 days in the hospital. My Mom had surgery and is slowly but surely recuperating. I had a list of things to do but first I wanted to do a quick post. Here is my inspiration that I found on Pinterest. I made some changes but kept the idea of the 2 hearts hanging on a tree.

It was a happy day yesterday -we welcome our latest addition (Kingston) to our growing family. We have been waiting for his arrival and we are just so blessed. Cade has a little brother.
Today's post is another Valentine's card for a purr-fect friend. I used the cat from a retired set Have a Heart, colored with markers and accented with eyelets in the corners and border punch.

Another busy weekend for me- working on my Feb tutorial, last minute shopping and more packing.
But there is always time to play.
Today's card is just Simply Simple using the flower from the Oh, Hello stamp set. I stamped the flowers in different colors and punched them out. I added the Crumb Cake strip with the Needlepoint border EF. Hope you like it.

I found this beautiful card on Pinterest and work my way into Debra's blog ( Artfelt Impressions)
is the perfect card fo someone who is simply wonderful. I love the way she layered everything, I made a few changes on mine to make it my own. I added the polka dot ribbon, layered my sentiment and the main panel. The hearts I've changed, too. Hope you like it.
