I have been getting request to show on my blog how I make my ribbon bows where the polka dots are showing when you tie it. I think it would have been better to show it on video but I just
don't have that capability.
This is just showing a few pointers where you can actually see how I flip the ribbon with the polka dots showing.
Start with a loop like you would normally tie a ribbon.
Go over and under but you have to make sure that the center knot is solid and the rest of the ribbon will show the polka dots.
See how the center is solid. The polka dots are showing except for the right bottom part.
Before I tighten the bow, this is where I do the flip (clockwise) .
This is how the finished ribbon will look and you can just pull and tighten it for a smoother look.

thanks for sharing that! half the time I get the bow I want the other time I don't so I go with a simple knot!
