Hope

Inspiration Challenge #115
I really could not decide at first what I wanted to do for the IC, but when I figured out what I wanted for my main background, my design for this card looks promising. There is hope.
Click here for the inspiration challenge.
I used the Natural Beauty stamped in Chocolate chip and White Craft on Choclate Chip and Creamy Caramel paper. I used the branch and bird from the Spring Solitude set and mounted them in dimensionals. I used the Twill and Gingham ribbon to embellish the main panel.
Thanks for stopping by.

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Bashful Blue. Whisper White

Cutie Pie

Dollar Find
I was inspired by the LSC challenge using Circles that I created some Giftables using the Circles.
The So Many Scallops (FREE set)from the Sale-a-bration is a cute set that I used for the Note pad and Flower frame.
I found this flower frame with stand at JoAnn's for a dollar and I thought of making something out of it. I used the Cutie Pie paper to decorate the flower and the So Saffron Paper behind it. I distressed the edges of the flower.
You can put a picture in the middle of it, but for now I just decorated it with the So many Scallops saying. I used the flowers from the Cutie Pie and use the 1/2 inch Circle punch.
I have a Bind-It-All and created this note pad using the same Cutie Pie DSP.

I used my Circle Cutter for this frame.
I stamped the So Many Scallops flower in So Saffron, stamped it again in Purely Pomegranate.
I used the 1" Circle punch to punched the sentiment and added the flower. I went around with my Rose red marker, the next best thing that I thought is closed to the Purely Poegranate color and did the dots.

The 1/2 " circle punch came in handy for these Circle flowers that I mounted around the frame.
I embeelished it with Gold brads .

Nothing but Circles

Limited Supply Challenge #155

XOXOXO

Re-Introducing LOVE
You don't see enough of it.
Not because it isn't around
But because people aren't looking.
Stop for a second and look.
It's there.
All you have to do is use it.
Send it with flowers for your girl.
Take it home to your wife.
Hand carry it to Mother or Dad.
Wear it around the neighborhood
Salute the flag with it.
Share it with the rest of the world.
Love is 100% better than hate.
It does things and it gets things done.
With less effort.
At no cost.
You never have to replace it.
Because you never run out of it.
Love keeps fresh.
24 hours a day.
And the funny thing about it is,
The more you give of it,
The more you get out of it.
LOVE. Use it everyday.
It works.

Fashion BLING

Ways to Use It #153
I don't know what I was thinking this morning ,but today's challenge is about fashion. Bling and Sparkle are in fashion , so I thought I'd base this challenge using bling on my card. Since it's Valentine's Day today, i picked these colors for the challenge. I got this idea from Janie, a SU demonstrator that I swapped with during a recent regional. I really thought it was the perfect design for the challenge using the scalloped punch. I punched black and white paper two times and cut off the 5 scallops . I mounted the white behind the black for added dimension, then I added the bling.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Valentine's Day to all !!!
RECIPE:
Stamps: It's a Girl Thing, Beyond the Basics, Love It
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, White Craft, White Gel Pen

Tools: Scallop Punch, Dimensionals

I made this card for today's SC that can be found
here. I just love how this flower came into place
despite the size without compromising the actual sketch. I was able to add the sentiment with the bee stamped in Soft Sky. The flower image was stamped in Staz-On Black and colored with Blender pen. I used the Spring Break DSP, which has the most wonderful colors I just love to incorporate with my favorite papers. I used the 5/8 Grosgrain ribbon and Gold brads for my finishing touches.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
Paper: Blue Bayou, Old Olive, Whisper white, DSP Spring Break
Ink: Old Olive, Blue Bayou, Staz-On Black

Try a New Technique #155
This is the new challenge on SCS-try a new technique Ink, Spray and Smash on glossy paper.

I used the Spring Break DSP to matched the colors I picked with just a touch of Basic Black. The flowers from the So Much set were embossed in White Craft pad . I colored some of the petals with Versamark ink for dimension. The center flower is from Kind Thoughts and I embellished it with White brads.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: So Much, Kind Thoughts
Paper: Blue Bayou, Old Olive, Spring Break DSP, Basic Black
Ink: White Craft, Versamark pen

Featured Stamper #53
Surely you will agree with me that today's FS Sarah has an outstanding gallery. I love looking at her creation and having the chance to cased her today is a wonderful opportunity.

I wanted to highlight the dahlia fold , so I used the White Gel pen. The corners were done using the 1" Circle Punch and cut 4 times, added Pink brads and using the White Gel pen again, I did the little white dots.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Holidays, Defining Alphabet
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, Berry Bliss DSP
Ink: White Craft , White Gel Pen

Double Take

Pocket Hearts
Here are two pocket cards that I did from a new technique I did on SCS not too long ago but instead of making it into a card I turned it into a giftable.
I did the pocket hearts in two colors . I used the SA Wheel Kindness and stamped the sentiment on the red pocket heart
paper. I used the Black/White grossgrain ribbon that holds the two pockets together.

Ont the black pocket heart paper, I did the same stamping and tucked the chocolates on this side. This was such an easy and adorable project that I wanted to share with you.

Note Holder and 3x3 Notes

  4. the 1/4" will be your middle fold
  5. Score 2", that would be your inside fold
  6. Trim the 1/4" from the 2 inch fold.
  7. Decorate as desired.

3 x 3 Notes

I used the Lovely Labels, Friendhip Blooms and one of the stamp in the Sweet Celebrations set. I kept the same layout from the holder minus the ribbon.

Triple Play

Color Challenge #152
Hello and How's everyone today? After 2 cups of coffee, I think I am ready to post this card that I made for the CC-Real Red, Apricot Appeal and Ballet Blue. I also used Beate's WSC33 which I really love. I wish I had designer papers to go with these colors but I don't. This is good ol' stamping with no DSP to go with it. I was so used to stamping without any background paper and used to make my own. The main card was stamped in White Craft using the All About Gratitude SA wheel. The blue panel was stamped in Ballet Blue and White Craft using the outline flower from this set (Spring Solitude).
I used my Score-Pal to create the score lines on the blue panel.
You gotta try that, kinda cool. Then for the main panel, I stamped the outline flower in Ballet Blue and went with my Aqua Painter ever so lightly just for a soft color. I stamped the solid flower in White paper and cut it out then mounted it with
dimensionals. Iadded the buttons. I finished it off with Stickles and did hand stitching for the main flower using the White Gel Pen. I almost forgot about this striped ribbon that totally went well with these colors. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Spring Solitude, SA All About Gratitude, One of A Kind
Paper: Real Red, Ballet Blue, Apricot Appeal and Whisper White
Ink: Ballet Blue, Real Red, White Craft, White Gel Pen
Accessories: Buttons, Brads, Striped Ribbon, Stickles and Bubbles
Tools: Score-Pal, 1/2" Circle Punch, Non-SU Circle Punch, 1/16 Punch, Dimensionals, Aqua-Painter
