Playing with Colors

Hello Peeps !!!

 Happy Thursday !!!

Today is the day that I am working on putting away Christmas decorations around the house. I really did not think it's going to take me this long but between work and other stamping obligations, it had to wait. Hopefully I get it all done today.
I did stop and took a break to play these colors from the Paper Players Challenge # 227- Crisp Cantaloupe, Lost Lagoon and Sahara Sand. I used Whisper White for my Neutral. I really enjoyed these colors and I even designed it for a girls' color. Hope you like it.

2015 Calendar

I wanted to share a 2015 Calendar that I did for a gift exchange on our Demo Christmas Exchange. This is what I came up with using MDS to make the calendar. I used 6 chipboard that are held by the rings. For the back of the calendar itself, it is not glued but held by clips so you can actually add a post-it note in the back and write important dates like birthdays, anniversary etc.

One Tag Fits All

here is a cute card using the One Tag Fits All from the Occasions Mini.  I used the DSP from the Stacked with Love and made banners.  I stamp the sentiment but split it up for a different look. For
my background, I used  embossing folders. Hope you like it.

From This To This- A Second Look at ATC

I woke up early to get ready for a class I am having today and worked on some ATC that I swap with

the girls. You turn a 2-1/2 x 3-1/2" trading card and make it into a card. When you need to make a card really quick, you already have the ATC. I used the stamp set Groovy Love using these colors. I also got a chance to used the hearts border punch. Hope you like it.

 

RECIPE:

Stamps:  Groovy Love, Oh, Goodie

Paper:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Crisp Cantaloupe In color DSP, glimmer paper, Stacked with Love DSP, Neutrals DSP.

Ink:  Basic Black, Crisp Cantaloupe

Accessories:  grosgrain ribbon

Tools: sweetheart punch, hearts border punch, itty bitty accent heart punch, window punch, dimensionals.

Today I made a card using the Itty Bitty heart punch. It is just a cute and simple card on a dsp background. There is very little stamping involved as you can see.

I used the new epoxy heart sticker for one of my hearts.

I can finally "breathe" again and return to my normal schedule now that things are slowing down for me and in my household. There are still plans for the New Year but I do not think it will be as hectic as Christmas. I can even post...Yey!!!

This card I did for one of my downlines using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set. I really enjoyed making this card with all the bling. Hope you like it.

Merry Christmas to All...

 

December 25th, 2014- Santa was busy delivering presents last night and I am busy making sure that the grandkids and my kids got everything that they wish for. I am also busy cooking in the kitchen.

I wanted to share this frame that I did a few days back using MDS of course. I also used glimmer papers and the Dazzling Details Cherry Cobbler. This frame just sparkles...and this picture does not do any justice.  Hope you like it.

I did these giftable ideas for my family using canning jars to hold some treats. I did something similar

using  tumblers. I found some red paper doilies at a local craft mart and they make an ideal decoration. Hope you like it.

Here is another cool gift card holder that makes gift giving fun and festive. I used the topnote die again. I cut 2 and topnote die and inside , you can hold the gift card. I used the Cheerful Tag stamp set for the snowflake and the Merry saying. The snowflake is a retired punch framed using circle punches. Hope you like it.

Aren't these the cutest thing to put gift cards? I found something similar on Pinterest and I thought I'd tweak mind using the topnote die. The bottom part gift card is using the Envelope punch. Jean did this for our make and take and it is way cool. It measures 5 x 5" and the rest is easy to figure out.

For the topnote die. I did an insert that you can slide out to get the gift card.

I really like the saying- Chimney Delivery. Hope you like it.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Christmas in our house is filled with things I collected through the years. Some I even made and kept and has been part of our family. I do enjoy decorating and I still manage to get a little help from the boys.
I still have quite a bit of stuff to do but I am done decorating. My sister and I are still planning to bake cookies this week and hopefully I can make time with my crazy schedule at work.
The 2 page scrapbook were done using MDS of course and I used a lot of embellishments from Trim the Tree and Season of Style. Hope you like it.

I think that when you decorate a box, it just creates your own personal touch. Gift giving seems like worthwhile no matter what's in it. This is the gift exchange that I gave on our 2 Bee Group and my friend Jean is the lucky winner. I used the  bow bigz die of course and used the Many Merry Stars from the supplement.
