T'was the night ....

...before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring...that's because we were all stuffed from the Christmas dinner we had. (he, he, he !!)

It has been our tradition to celebrate the eve of Christmas with family and friends. It is but once a year that the kids and grown ups as well get to stay up late and celebrate this joyous event. Tonight is no exception...

It was a lovely Christmas dinner at the home of my niece, Kristian in Queen Creek that our family gathered and had a feast. We had good food, games and tons of pictures. The kids were all too anxious to open their presents while the adults did the White Elephant exchange gifts. There were several goodies that I would have kept but they keep stealing them from me. Nevertheless, I was happy to take home glass coasters.

I know it's morning now and wanted to grab a few hours of sleep...but not until I wish each and everyone of you a Very Merry Christmas !!!

Project #1
Oval Frame
Hello everyone !!!

I wanted to share my Stamp-a-Stack (10 for 10)projects I did for my class where they made 10 cards for $10. They made 2 cards of the same designs.

They are really easy, quick and fun projects that they made for Christmas. This is a great opportunity for my new and experienced stampers to send Christmas cards to their family and friends and all they need is a postage stamp.

I used the wide oval frame, mounted the image underneath and framed it using the white gel pen. I used large oval frame for the sentiment for a matching design.

Stamps: To You and Yours
Paper: Brocade Blue, Real Red, Whisper White,
Ink: Basic Gray, White Gel pen
Accessories: grosgrain real red ribbon
Tools: Wide Oval frame, large oval frame, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by.

Home for Christmas

This is another simple card I made that draw your attention to the details-snowflakes ! using the 3/4" punch for the snowflakes, they were mounted in dimensionals after adding the brads. Here's one of the projects that I have been working on. I gave these frames to my stamping class as a Christmas gift using the rub-ons.

This is actually a tile (4x4) that I decorated into a frame. The main background was stamped in tissue paper then crumpled and laid flat in the tile using spray adhesive. The main image was mounted in a 2x2 tile using the rub-ons. I used dew drops as accents.

Stamps: Inspired by Nature
Paper: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point
Accessories: striped gorsgrain Pacific Point ribbon, dew drops
Tools: 1-3/8 Square punch, sticky strip, spray adhesive, dimensionals, crystal effects, magnet

The main image is a magnet that can be removed. I mounted another magnet in the main tile background to adhere it.
