Sweet Scoops

Hello Peeps !
Happy Monday!!!
This is a card I did for a demo swap. We had to make a 4 x 4 full card and I chose the new set from the Summer Mini and did a tri fold card. I used the Write Stuff DSP and coordinated the Real Red, So Saffron and Soft Duede colors. Hope you lik it.

5 Petal Flower

Here is a card that I did using the 5 extra flower punch. i followed Dawn's tutorial and it was really easy. i sprayed some glitter. i also used the Fancy Flower and kept a simple layout.

Simply Said Note Cards

Color Renovation

Are you ready for a change ?

Because this is what it's all about !!!! Stampin' UP is renovating and offering us a palette of NEW COLORS that are fresh and vibrant. See the new 4 Color Selections with some returning colors and some new ones.

As much as I will miss some of the retiring colors, I can honestly say that I will not miss some of the other ones that I hardly ever, ever used. I am already thinking of some great color combinations and I am definitely ready for a change .

Polka Dot Butterflies

It has been a busy morning and afternoon for me. Finally took a break and post a card using butterflies !!! I have some background texture, added scallop trim border and framing on the butterflies I incorporated in this card. Of course, no card is complete without an added sentiment. Elegant You

Hello Peeps!!!
Happy Wednesday!!!
Here is a card that I did using clean and simple design and layout. The main image was stamped in Elegant Eggplant and I used blender pen shortly after to create subtle colors on the flowers. I used the EF for the background -just needed a little touch in that area. After I framed the sentiment in the round circles, I was pretty much satisfied how the card will look.

This is one of the clean and simple cards that I made last weekend. It features clean lines with a few interesting details-piercing, round frame for the main image and adding scored lines in the bottom. I had fun making this card. I also tied the ribbon a bit different this time. Hope you like it.

It was a wonderful reunion with my family today and I tell you it is such a blessing !!!
We went to church really early and did not have time to post. I wanted to share this very simple yet elegant card . It was one of the cards I made using this set when it came out.

Season's Flowers

I got this set recently as my Free Sale-a-bration and finally got the chance to finish them. These are 4 x 4 cards that I did for my etsy. I used different colored squares for my background panels and embellished them with red eyelets and tafetta ribbons. The main images were stamped, embossed and colored with markers. Hope you like them.

Awash with Flowers

Happy Good Friday !!!
Another late post today .I was literally exhausted when I got home from work and went straight to bed. I woke up with a sneezing attack and then it was out of bed for me. This card I made using the Awash with Flowers is beginning to be a favorite set. I did not add the outline, instead I popped the petals. I added the scallop trim border and row of pearls in the bottom.

This is just a quick post using this cute set-Hello Again. I took advantege of the Sale-a-bration and got this set for FREE. I used Pumpkin Pie colors for the flowers and popped one of the flowers. Birthday Butterfly

I finally got a day off from work and I can at least stay up a bit late- to get some posting done.

Awash with Flowers

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was uneventful and restful with some family time.
I did a few stamping using the set above- Awash with Flowers. It is a 2 -step stamping and you can choose to line them up or not. I just did a visual on mine and it was sort of a hit or miss situation. Either way, I think they look pretty good.

April Elements of Style Project Kit Tutorial 2010

I am once again excited to show you the April Kit Project Tutorials using the Elements of Style set that is going to be in the Summer Mini catalog. I also used the die cut butterflies and embosslits Beautiful Wings as my main image. I have 4 cards and a 3-d item that are demonstrable with easy step by step instructions in a pdf file. This is easy and fun to make as the March kit.

Fusion Flower






Hello Peeps !!!


HappySaturday !!!
Today is a busy day for me and DH -we are seriously getting our taxes done. Hopefully we will be able to get it done in a timely manner. But, there is always room for some stamping and this card is so simple and yet it has a lot of character. The flower fusion was done in Real Red
and I used a DSP with flowers that makes a really nice background. And I just finished it off with this gorgeous satin ribbon. Hope you like it.

Awash

Happy Friday !!!
My new set arrived yesterday and did not waste anytime inking it up. I got the clear this time with the thought of the alignment being easier. In a way it seems like it is easy but I still have to make sure that I take time lining it up. I chose really soft spring colors and embellished it with the bashful blue satin ribbon. Hope you like it.
