Another Great Year

I have quite a bit of to do list today but I am posting this Another Great Year card that I did recently.
I used paper piecing on the sentiment, added the splatter background and framed the cupcake. I also enjoyed the colors that I used here. Hope you like it.

Today's card is for Playing with Colors- Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Whisper White for my Neutral. I used the Artisan label punch and the circle punch to frame my images, adding a touch of DSP in the background. Hope you like it.

From This To This- A Second Look at ATC

Another very busy day for me today, so I thought I'd start with a morning post then off to my stamping class.  I did this ATC for our swap and turned it into a card using the Moonlight DSP for
my background. I dressed up my ribbon bow with the gold sequins. Hope you like it.

I do not know how long since I cased somebody but I was looking around Pinterest and saw this beautiful card from Andrea (Snippets). I just really love the way she used the Tape It stamp set. I did make a few changes on mine to make it my own. I used the new In Colors and the flower from a new stamp set Something to Say.  Hope you like it.

So Very Grateful

I have been quite busy these days and must apologize for lack of postings lately. Work and family usually get in the way but in a good way. I have the whole day to myself and I intend to get some work done.
Today's card was done using the So Very Grateful stamp set which did not make it in the catalog.
I really enjoyed using this set especially the coloring part. I framed it using the Designer Frames and embellished with mini gold pearls. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend ! Despite my busy schedule I did find the time to relax and enjoy some family time. I did not have much time to post so I am hoping to catch up with  some weekly challenges.
I did another scrapbook page using MDS. My DH birthday is coming soon so I thought I will do a page of one of his favorite things to do. I used the First Edition background for my main page and added some stitching. Hope you like it.

I am having more fun scrapbooking with MDS than the actual scrapbooking. It is so easy to create a page knowing that everything I need is right in my MDS. I mix and match images as I see them fit. The background I used is a Christmas DSP but it worked to create that wavy theme. The cork is from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple

Hope everyone's weekend was wonderful. My DH and I had a wonderful camping weekend...again.
It was an early birthday celebration since he will be working pretty much next week.

Today's card is for Simply Simple week using a border embossed background and your basic Black and White cardstock. I used a retired Stampin' Up set for my main image. Hope you like it.

Gift Card Holder

I saw these cute treat holders on Pinterest and I thought that it will make a great gift card holder, too. I pretty much copied the design and the measurements and it turned out really CUTE. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Button Buddies

I wanted to share a cool technique using the quilt design with embossing folder. I thought it would also make a cute baby card. I used square and then cur them in half and glued them together.

MDS Tuesday

Happy Tuesday !!!

My DH and I enjoyed a bit of nature when we celebrated our Anniversary. We had a fabulous time of course and here is one of the scrapbook pages I created using MDS. I added the splatter in the background, followed by the strips of DSP adding shades of green and brown and yellow and simple embellishments to finish the page. Hope you like it.

Finally, a day off from work and with plenty of time to play in my stamp room. I will not be doing any housework today, just stamping and catching up with my to-do list.
Today's Playing with Colors- Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Certainly Celery and Whisper White for my Neutral. I used the image from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set, and manage to add the Petal Parade and Flower Shop for my flower design. I also scored the background using the scoring tool.  Hope you like it.
