Merry Scallop

Hello Peeps!!!
Happy Sunday !!!

It was a super busy day yesterday celebrating my son's graduation from the University of Phoenix. There were 17-1/2 family and relatives present including Mr. Cade (my grandbaby). He slept through the whole dinner thing which was good for Mommy because she was able to enjoy her food.   One down and two more to go.  I had a few hours of sleep since I work the night before so when I got home I literally saw the bed and I passed out.  Hopefully today I will get to answer all the e-mails and send out some tutorials.
Anyway, how are you doing in making your Christmas cards ? Need more ideas with very little stamping involved? Today's post was done during a recent swap with our demo meeting- to used anything on the Holiday Mini. I used the Deck the Halls DSP and the Tasteful Trim Bigz die cut.  I used the scallop circle punch to create the flower and layered it in the extra large scallop circle punch using Very Vanilla.

RECIPE:
Stamps:  Contempo Christmas
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Deck the Halls DSP
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler
Accesories:  satin Early Espresso ribbon
Tools:  Big Shot, extra large scallop circle punch, scallop circle punch, circle punch, Tasteful Trim Bigz die cut, piercing tool, dimensional

Consider It Cased 26

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

I have seen so many beautiful samples of the Contempo Christmas stamp set  and was delighted to cased one on Stasia's blog (Stampin and Scrappin with Stasia). I really love her rectangle scalloped frame and I thought it would be cool to do one in a circle frame.  I do not have the seam binding she used but I got this polka dot grosgrain ribbon and button brad on clearance that I can use to embellish the card. I kept my background in Whisper White and used my square latiice EF for a textured background.
Hope you like it. Thanks so much Stasia for the inspiration and this opportunity to cased you.
Hop over to Jean's blog ( Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see who she cased.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Contempo Christmas
Paper: Whisper White, Old OLive, Real Red
Ink:  Real Red, Old Olive, gel pen
Accessories: polka dot ribbon, button brad
Tools: Score-Pal, Big Shot, square lattice EF, Circle punch, scalloped circle punch

Thanksgiving Wishes

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday !!!

I am a bit exhausted  after a demo meeting last night and going to work right after.  I know, like I have super powers...not.  I am ready to call it a night but I just have a few things to take care of  before I go to bed. We had a special guest last night and I do believe we are going to see her a lot more.
Anyway, I did a Thanksgiving card using the Paisley Prints stamp set.  The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and Cajun Craze and then cut after.  Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up MDS

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Thursday !!!

Today's week is Playing with Colors- Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Neutral-Whisper White.
But there is a twist- this is not a regular card that I usually make. This card was done using the
"My Digital Studio" minus the cardstock of course but the images are all from the Winter Post in My Digital Studio. I meant to print the entire card on my printer but I just can't seem to do it right- so I just decided to work on what I have and I think it turned out okay. I was still able to do texture,
embellishments and some coloring. Once I get comfortable with some technical issues, I should be able to actually do a "card". Hope you like it.
Hop over to Jean's blog (Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see how she played with these colors.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Winter Post (My Digital Studio)
Paper:  Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red
Ink:  Digital Studio- Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, markers
Accessoies: tafetta ribbon, pearls
Tools:  My Digital Studio (MDS), circle punches, Score-Pal

Riding the Trails

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Wedenesday !!!

I did another scrapbook page(s) using " My Digital Studio" and I must say the more I used it, I am getting more comfortable using the textures and embellishments.  The journaling I struggle because I never really know sometimes what to put in it.  I love that the matting is so easy to used, and that you can save the layout you created.  Anyway, The lake is about 20 minutes from our house.  The trails are in the back of the lake and it took us about 20 minues to go down and enjoy the beautiful view. BTW, that cool guy is my DH, who pretty much taught me how to ride.

If you have any tips to share with me using the "My Digital Studio" or if you have some scrapbook
page(s) in your blog, please let me know. I would love to hear from you and see your cool projects.

Stampin' Up a Little Birthday Cheer

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Tuesday !!!

My plate is full today with my "To Do List" on hand.  I am getting ready for my Christmas swap and a class, so you know what I will be doing today... so there goes the household chores.  But there is time to post...as always.  I did not trealized how minimal stamping was done on this card until I finished it.
So, I did the dots with markers on the scallops below.  That just tells you with Stampin' UP Punches , you can still make a card.  My second attempt to do the ribbon where you stitched it in the middle and gather.  What do you think ? Hope you like it.

Stamps:  A Little Birthday Cheer
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Pattern DSP
Ink:  Early Espresso, Old Olive
Accessories: graograin ribbon Very Vanilla, pearls

Happy Sunday !!!

Happy Halloween and Goblin Greetings to all !!!
Do you have your bags of candies for your Trick or Treaters tonight ?  I finally got bags of candies yesterday after visiting the Haunted Manor yesterday.  I always look forward to checking  pretty scary stuff and special effects that they do.  Then DH and I  sat down in front of the TV and watched some scary movies.

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

I saw this beautiful card and I just knew I had to cased it. Here is Andrea's card (Just Because I Love to Play...) using the Paisley Prints and how she incorporated the sentiment in the center. Hope you like it. Thanks Andrea for this wonderful opportunity to cased you.
Hop over to Jean's blog ( Bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see who she cased. it could be you.
