Good Morning! Ijust got this new set for free from the Sale-a -bration promotion. I always wanted it and keep putting it off. I wanted to used them as checkbook holders. Wouldn't they make a good conversation piece everytime you write a check. Neat, huh?

And they are so easy to make.

Distressed Flower Tutorial

As promised, I am posting the tutorial for the distressed flower using the Extra large Flower punch. It is really easy and the trick is to really do a good job with the distressing. I only used Stampin' UP cardstock and I am not sure if it is going to work on ther cardstock.

These projects I did a week ago and finally got the chance to finished them. I wish I could have done all the In Colors but hopefully you will get ideas from these colors. The distressed flower is using the new Stampin' UP Extra Large flower punch. Make sure to visit my

Hello peeps!!!

I thought I was going to have the time to do some challenges today but I got stucked doing other stuff. Anyway, this card is so simple and it just needs a few touches, that is why I added the Chocolate Chip ribbon. I also put some CE on the flowers and an antique button.

Butterfly Friend

It's been a while since I used my Great Friend set so I decided to ink it. I love the clean look with the addition of square DSP's. IThe main image was stamped and raised in dimensional. The pearls made the perfect acccent.

Birthday Scallop

I made this birthday card with my all time favorite Eastern Blooms set. I also used the scallop punch and the new scallop trim border in White and Old Olive which makes a nice border.

Again, this card is really simple and the focal point being my scallop circle. What do you think about this gorgeous satin ribbon? I don't have all the colors yet but I am working on them.

TGIF!!! I have been up since 6 am and trying to do a bit of cleaning in my room. I do however get distracted by some stamps sets that I wanted to play with. Here's a card from the Vintage Vogue that I ended up inking. It makes such a nice addition when you popped some images, so that's what I did to my flower and the F letter. Hope you like it>

Embossed Card

Hello and Good Morning!!!!

I am starting my weekend right.. I am posting early and getting some stamping done today. I borrowed this set from my friend Cheryl . At first , I did not really care for it with all the coloring involved, But I have to use a set sometimes and fell in love with it.

This is a simple card framed in Top Note die cut. The embossing folder was added and finished it off with a grosgrain ribbon and button.

Here is another card I did using the Vintage Vogue set. I used the same colors and the main layour design. The dots embossing folder was such a nice additon especially in the white background. The circle flower with the sentiment was a nice touch. I was sure glad I added it.

Vintage Flower

I wish it was still the weekend...still has quite a bit of stamping to do. But I guess some things will have to be put on hold- like the laundry, and ironing! Oh yeah, I still do ironing and I do enjoy it with a DVD movie.

Anyway, My card is from the new set Vintage Vogue. I amloving the Rich Razzleberry colors with this set. I used the square scallop but ended up cutting some of it.

Treat Cup Card

Hello Peeps !!!

The treat cups are just not for goodies-punched hearts and microbeads, too. What a perfect way to send a card with this !!! The pinking hearts border are so, so cute with the basic black background. I added the stamped image inside the treat cup and added a brad in the center.
