Happy Monday !!!

 

It has been a miserable weekend for me dealing with vertigo and today was the

best I felt. I am still taking it slow and really did not do any stamping.

The card I am showing you is one that I did a few days ago using

the Happy Scenes stamp set. I used the Boughs and berries background, a touch of glimmer

on my main card and embossing on the main frame.

Happy Thursday !!!

 

Yesterday's birthday was wonderfully celebrated with family of course. My boys

treated me for dinner, flowers and movie tickets. Birthday wishes from friends across

the US made me special by just dropping by on FB to wish me a Happy Birthday!

I treated myself to a nice day at the Spa which I really enjoyed. I must say you do get special treatment on your birthday.

This card was done using the colors from Color Throwdown #ctd369.

I used So Saffron, Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla for my Neutral.

I used circle frames for my main image and circle punches for my sentiment.

Another year older...which is why I thought this card will be appropriate for today's post.

I really like stamping the flower on this set using the scallop circle punch.

Because of the photopolymer stamp saying, I was able to create a circle

design and just added a few embellishments.

Terrific Tuesday !

Happy Tuesday !!!

 

I am finally back from our trip- it was business with pleasure sort of trip.

It was well spent and well worth it especially I got my DH with me for a few days

visiting the wonderful San Diego area. Then Saturday I got to spent it with my

besties On Stage. It was my first On Stage and I love it.

I already flip through the pages of the Occasions catalog so many times

on our way home and I already have a long list going.

I am sure you are anxiously waiting and I know your list is probably going to be

longer than mine if not the same.

A few weeks ago, I did a girl version of this frame using Something for Baby

stamp set with the coordinating framelits. I used the chipboard for framing

and a retired alphabet die cut.

Daisies

Happy Friday !!!

 

I will never get tired of using these daisies die cut.  I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the daisies and held them with a mini brad. I used Wild Wasabi for my background paper and for

the leaves. I had a few layers going on with this card but I love how it blends

with the embossing folder, DSP and main frame.

I just love the simplicity of this card using the Happy Scenes stamp set. I set the background 

with the Softly Falling EF using the Night of Navy c/s. I used the Trio punch  for

the 2 corners.The main image was stamped in Night of Navy ink, and then ran

through the Big Shot using the same EF.
