Here is a sweet card that I made using the Sketched Birthday stamp set. I created  a simple background with an EF and a DSP. I used the oval framelits for framing and stamped the image.

I did some coloring and just finished it off with this cool ribbon treatment.

I just found this beautiful card on Georgia's blog ( Stampin' Georgia) using the Gorgeous Grunge for the background and the bigz Lattice die. I made afew changes on mine to make it my own- adding a washi tape and stamped an image underneath. I also finished it off with a baker's twine.

Playing with Colors

I did two challenges today- using the sketch from The Paper Players #237 and the colors from the Color Throwdown #335.  I was able to get the stamp set from the Sale-a-bration stamp For Being You before it went away. I thought the words were perfect for the sketch.

Don't you just love this set? It's got some cool stamps and really enjoy the cute sayings that come with them. I used these cute little worm by stamping and coloring it. I added Crystal effects on the flower and used the color DSP from the Sale-a-bration.

I am a bit exhausted this morning but I just need to unwind after working last night, so what

better way to do that than to do a little stamping. I used this set- Messages for Mom and started

with a DSP background. I did some coloring on the main image and finished it off with

a nice polka dot ribbon with bling.

I really enjoyed making this card that I saw on Linda's blog ( Stampin' Seasons). I love the colors she picked to make this card which inspired me to keep the colors. I did make a few changes on mine to make it my own- the sentiment placement I changed, and used a darker yellow.

Playing with Colors

I decided to play 2 challenges today using the colors from Color Throwdown ctd334 and the sketch from Mojo Monday 389. I used this lovely set Easter Blossoms and for my colors- Night of Navy, Regal Rose, and Tangerine Tango. I did embossing on my background and used the

scallop dotted border punch on my strip.

I just adore this stamp set from the Occasions Mini. I love tulips and it is perfect for birthdays

and any other occasion you can think of. I started with the stripes EF background, then DSP.

I incorporated paper piecing in my flowers. I changed the sentiment and covered it 

with the circle framing.

MDS Tuesday

I am a little sad to learn that MDS will no longer be available after May 31st. I truly enjoy making the MDS scrapbook pages and could not believe that it will soon be going away.  Just the same, I still plan to do some posting of memories that come to life using MDS.

Today is really a lazy day for me. We had such a wonderful family affair yesterday and today I am just beat. I still manage to do a quick post for today's Simply Simple. I used the Painted Petals set with the square thinlirs for framing. I love these 2 colors together and just with the right amount of designer paper, it gives the card a different look.

I saw this beautiful card on Amanda's blog ( Did You Stamp Today?) using the Henry Says stamp set.

I really love the way she added the colors on her main image.

I made a few changes on mine- did embossing on my main panel, instead of vellum, I just used Sahara Sand c/s, and used a different background.

I just love today's colors- Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. These are Color Throwdown colors (ctd333). I used   Garden party stamp set which I am really beginning to like.  I  used the circle framelits, and added a few embellishments.
