Blessings

Good Morning to all !!!
I had a refreshing weekend with my family camping in Payson and we had a great time- eating, sitting by the campfire, playing games, a little bit of hiking and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. I have never heard of a potato gun before but they had a blast with that, not to mention shooting and riding the ATV.
The weather was perfect even though it got chilly at night ; we stayed nice and warm in our
sleeping bags.
It was really nice to get away and just enjoy some family time. It's the simple things in life that is so precious and what is good about it, you always have these memories an no one can take them away.
My card seems so appropriate for what I just went through this weekend with my family and it is really a very simple card using the Top Note die cut that I cut in half. I stamped the leaves in different colors and added the wide chocolate/vanilla ribbon on top.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Falling Leaves, Harvest Home
Paper: More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink: Old Olive, Soft Suede, More Mustard
Accessories: brads, wide vanilla/chocolate ribbon
Tools: Big Shot machine, Top Note die cut, 1/2" circle punch

Polka Dot Ribbon Tutorial

Hello Peeps!!!
I have been getting request to show on my blog how I make my ribbon bows where the polka dots are showing when you tie it. I think it would have been better to show it on video but I just
don't have that capability.
This is just showing a few pointers where you can actually see how I flip the ribbon with the polka dots showing.

Start with a loop like you would normally tie a ribbon.

Go over and under but you have to make sure that the center knot is solid and the rest of the ribbon will show the polka dots.

See how the center is solid. The polka dots are showing except for the right bottom part.
Before I tighten the bow, this is where I do the flip (clockwise) .
This is how the finished ribbon will look and you can just pull and tighten it for a smoother look.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful stampin' day!!!
