Sweet Stem Coasters



Happy Monday to all !!!
Do you know how easy it is to make these altered coasters? VERY !!! I just love how these turned out.
They are an inexpensive but very classy gifts that you can give for a birthday or Mother's Day!
I used the Sweet Stems set andcolored them using the IN Colors.

Riding Hood Flower Ribbon

Hello peeps!!!!
I made this card for SCS sketch and meant to post it sooner. Well, what do you know..it is already Sunday and I am just getting it posted just now. It really has minor stamping but I incorporated some details using the texturez and die cut (Circle) and DSP's. The flower is done using the striped ribbon and adding the button in the center.

I have not used this set in awhile, so Idecide today is the day to play with it again.
I wanted to create a different look for the flowers, so I stamped it in White Craft in using the Rose Red paper. What do you think?

Daisies for Mom

Inspiration Challenge #176
Hello and Happy Saturday !!!!
I just want to do a quick post on today's Inspiration on SCS. I used two sets of stamps to create the background design using Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke and Not Quite Navy ink.
My main image was done using the die cut daisies.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Central Park, A Happy Heart
Paper: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy. Whisper White, DSP Always Artichoke
Ink: Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy, White Craft
Accessories: dew drops, satin white ribbon
Tools: Circle punch, glue dots, dimensionals, Big Shot machine, daisies die cut.



This die cut is becoming to be one of my favorite.

Trendy Trees

Limited Supply Challenge #216

Happy Friday peeps!!!
Have you seen today's SCS challenge ? I chose
to used this SA wheel Funky Forest to use in
my card. I wanted to add some color to it, so I
used Riding Hood Red on some of the trees.

Echoes of Kindness

Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge #02
Happy Thursday to all!!!
Have you ever been to Napa Valley? It is definitely a return destination for me and my family. It was my second visit and I just love it. For today's inspiration, I made this card using the Branch Out set. I know it doesn't even come close on how I remembered the beautiful scenery in Napa but this card speaks of how easy it is to find inspiration. I sure hope you can play along.

Fabulous Friend

Sketch Card Challenge #224
Happy Wednesday!!!!
I love this set, Can you tell?
I was inspired by the beautiful colors of the DSP, so I based my colors-Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White to make this card.

I used the micro beads for the center and added the
Crystal effects after. Who doesn't love piercing? I know it's a lot of work but it really makes a nice addition.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Soft Summer, Oval All
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, DSP
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: micro beads, brads, satin Kiwi/Vanilla ribbon, CE
Tools: piercing tool, blender pen, dimensionals



I used micro beads for the center and added the
Crystal Effects. Who doesn't love piercing?
I know it's a lot of work, but it really makes
a nice addition.

These colors worked perfectly after all. I really did not know how to incorporate the So Saffron at first but after I decided which is my background and my main panel, it started to make sense. Here is the sketch last week and I incorporated it with these colors.

Some Bunny

Hello peeps !!!!
Here is a project that i did last night. I got my
scallop box and I was totally inspired by
Rose's (Rose's World) bunny. So this is totally cased, except for some minor changes. Thank you Rose for the idea. The best part are the goodies inside. I know a special someone that gave up chocolate for lent and she will be really happy to get this.

Good Morning and ...HAPPY EASTER WISHES TO ALL !!!
Here is the ATC that I did for our group. I stamped the chick and colored it using Aqua Painter. I mounted the egg shell after I did paper piecing. I popped it in dimensionals.

Time to Bloom

Inspiration Challenge #175
Hello peeps!!!
It is wet and raining today in my side of town,
so I thought I post spring/summery colors to
brighten this day. I decided to play SCS Inspiration Challenge I chose these three colors
based on the throw pillows.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: dew drops, grosgrain So Saffron ribbon
Tools: circle punches, Big Shot machine, Scallop box die cut, glue dots, crystal effects, Texture plates




















I used the ink pad for the top of the flower and the Old Olive marker for the stem. I used blender pen after. blossom sentiment was stamped in So Saffron
which makes a nice subtle background.



















The Circle tag was stamped using the For You from the Fundamental Phrases set then I stamped off the bee using the Old Olive marker.















I enjoyed making this box from the Scallop Box die cut using the Big Shot machine.
I repeated the same pattern design in this panel.

Soft Summer Breeze

Class Project #1
Hello and Good morning !!! I just wanted to share some projects that we did at the class and this one in particluar turned out to be a fav. I used the Soft Summer image stamped in Staz-on Brown in glossy white paper and they did the crayon resist technique.
The added dew drops at the center of the flower is just the right accent for the center. I love the spiral punch in the bottom and the organza white ribbon on top creating the perfect balance. You shouls also try these colors together-they are really pretty.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Soft Summer, Garden Greetings
Paper: Rose Red, Baja Breeze, and Chocolate Chip. Whisper White
Ink: Staz-on Brown, Baja Breeze, White Craft
Accessories: dew drops, organza white ribbon
Tools: piercing tool, baryer, crayon, spiral punch, glue dots

Manhattan For You

Class Project #2
What do you think of this one? This is another card I di for the class using the Manhattan embossing for the background. I was afraid that it will take the main image away with this background but I think it worked out well.

This turned out really simple and CUTE!
I did paper piecing for the eggs and pop them in dimensionals. It is a fun and easy project for the group.

Kiwi Kiss, DSP More Mustard, So Saffron, Old Olive
Ink: So Saffron, Barely Banana, Rose Red

Yummy !!!

Hello and Good morning !!!!!


Aren't these yummy looking ? These are treats
that I made for my Aunt's birthday last March.
I used the Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and they were a hit at the party.

Ink: Rose Red
Accessories: brads,Rose Red grosgrain ribbon
Tools: Three for You punch, Score pal






The yummy was stamped in Whisper White paper,
cut and mounted on top of the window sheet.
The punched flowers made beautiful accents.
