Inspiration Challenge #165
Happy Saturday !!!
I have some extra time today for the challenge on SCS before I go shopping. I picked this inspiration

Paper: More Mustard, Baja breeze, Pacific Point, Whisper White

Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, More Mustard

Accessories: dew drops, double stitch Baja Breeze ribbon

Try a New Technique #205
Happy Monday to you all!!!
I worked the weekend and totally missed the FS yesterday, and when I found out it was Vicky, I did not care if I had to make this card with one eye open, I was going to cased one of her cards. Her gallery is just amazing and there were so many cards in there-WOW!!!
I was able to incorporate today's technique-using pleats. I used the Score-pal and scored 1/2" on paper. Then I just folded it halfway to create this pleated border. I popped the 2 flowers and sponged them, then with a piece of black scrap, I used the double circle punch for the center.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Itty Bitty Buds
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red DSP
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive
Accessories: tafetta Pink Pirouette ribbon, brads

This is pull out card that I designed and again it is fairly easy to make. The white card measures 8-1/2" x 4". Once you do the scallop border, it will be about 3-3/4. But then again, you can cut it anyway you want. The stamp image was designed to look like a postage stamp.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Dreams du Jour
Paper: Whisper White,Real Red, DSP Rasperrry Tart
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Tools: scallop edge punch, square scallop punch
dimensionals

This picture gives you an idea what the card
looks like without the red card pulled out.
The white paper is scored 2-1/2" on one side
and 2" on the other side.

The stamp image was stamped first then, colored with
blender pen and mounted in dimensionals. Using scrap of red paper, punch a square scallop.

I used the wide oval punch for the holder opening, added the round circle punch for tag.

Using the heart to heart punch, I used 3 different colors paper to punch and used them for the front purse design.

Live, Love, Laugh

For Vonnie...

A very good friend and co-worker retired after
working as a nurse for 35 plus years. Today is her
Retirement Party and I made this altered journal for her along with the bookmark. I picked these colors because she's "old" but the pink should make her feel young. I probably will get in trouble for calling her old but she would not like me if I put the other name I call her. I will miss her...a lot !!!
Anyway, the letters are from Cricut machine and I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Paper: Basic Gray,Basic Black, DSp, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: ribbons, brads
Tools: Cricut, HPH, charm, dimensionals, Glue

Using the HPH, I made a bookmark. The letter V is from the Cricut machine, too.

Thanks for stopping by.
