I wanted to share a card that I did using Your Perfect Day stamp set. I used the Beautifully Baroque
background EF (retiring) on Very Vanilla c/s. I stamped my main image, added the flowers and finished it with a bling and a grosgrain ribbon.

Paper:  Very Vanilla, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar. Crushed Curry

Simply Simple

Here is a simple card for today's Simply Simple- using the Celebrate Today stamp set and the
framelits that goes with it. I stamped the main image of course and used
Transfer Adhesive sheet for the pennants.

Today is our anniversary and we have the whole weekend plan- a nice weekend getaway in

Playing with Colors

Today's post is for Playing with Colors using the Color Throwdown colors ctd338 from last week.
I used Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I also used The Paper Players
pp241 clean and simple watercolor challenge. I stamped the leaves and did spritzing on it prior to
stamping for my watercolor effect- a fun and easy technique.

Traveler




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Wednesday !!!

For today's post, I wanted to share a masculine card using the Traveler stamp set. I wanted
to create a background that uses masculine colors, so I used DSP and the square lattice EF which by the way is my all time favorite.  I stamped the main image in Chocolate Chip and
added ribbon and brads for accents.

MDS Tuesday

I think this card makes a perfect anniversary or wedding card. I designed the background using
MDS and the stamp brush set is also MDS. I used the tasteful trim die for the border,
and added a couple of embellishments.

Today is just a sweet little card for Simply Simple. I used  a banner design for my background and main image. I did a decorative design halfway only and stamped the saying in the bottom.
I added a few embellishments for my finishing touches.

Another 3-d item that I wanted to share today.  I gave this to a dear friend but never got around
to posting it sooner. I did a cute frame and used alphabet dies and MDS for the words.
I used the stamp set Remembering Your Birthday for my card with strips of DSP
and added a few embellishments.

Consider It Cased

I have to case it.  I made a few changes on my card to make it my own. I decided to used another color for my card, cut it down a bit and I added a sentiment on mine.

Retired But Love

Here is another card using a retired set using the Petal Parade. I am going to miss Crisp
Cantaloupe when they retire it. I did a simple background using the DSP. For my
main image, I stamped the flower and used circle punches.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!
 
I think that you will agree with me when I say these colors belong together-Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush. I am using these colors for the paper Players challenge PP240.
I stamped the image 2 times - one in Coastal Cabana first then in Strawberry Slush ink. I did
oval framing and perfect polka dots for my background.

Flowers in a Basket

I always thought that these flowers will look good in a basket, so I found a basket stamp in my collection. I used the doily paper for my background and also did some sponging on the DSP.
The flowers I stamped and added mini brads in the center.

I wanted to share a card that I did for my class using A Happy Thing stamp set. I wish I could have post it sooner before the Sale-a-bration ended. I used DSP for my image which is so perfect if you do not want to do coloring. I also used a simple chevron border punch.

Flower Shop Birthday Gift

Finally a post after a few days of having a busy schedule. Lots of things to take care of lately including getting my NRP and CPR certification out of the way before they expire. I am also working on my May and June tutorials.
Anyway, I wanted to share a gift that I did for my group that celebrated their birthdays.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set, square lattice EF, punches and framelits to make everything.
The berry basket framelit was such a good idea.

How great is this for a kid's birthday. I used die cut for the number and used the
what's up arrow punch. The saying is perfect and so are the balloons. I added ribbon
and brads for my finishing touches.
