Simply Simple

Happy Monday !!!

Today's post is fro Simply Simple week- using the Gently Falling stamp set. I stamped the image first then ran the EF through the Big Shot. I stamped the solid leaf and then stamp off then stamped the outline using the same color. The sentiment is from MDS. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

Happy Saturday !!!

I finally got another card done today for Consider It Cased week. I saw this gorgeous card of Betsy on Stampin' Connection and totally cased it. I changed my colros a bit, used a different sentiment since I do not have the stamp...yet. I really enjoyed using the blossom clay mold. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

I have been so busy at work lately that I have not gotten a chance to post.  Today though I was determined to post this card for Playing with Colors week- Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, and Basic Black. I used Very Vanilla for my Neutral. I used the Best of Halloween stamp set. Lots of layeing on this card but it still draws you to the main image (I hope ).

Eat if You Dare

Here is one of my Halloween projects that I did for class- a treat that will surely capture trick or treaters.  I just love the saying, don't you? Anyway, it is very simple. The measurement is 2 x 11 and scored at 4-1/2". Embellish however you want.  Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

The inspiration from this beautiful card is from Peggy's blog ( Pretty Paper Cards) who has captured the design elements and pretty neat layout. I changed a bit of the design to make it my own. I added DSP for my background, stamped the image on the side and make the doily my focal point.

Grateful



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday !!!

I have another day off today- so I am starting my day with a post. I did this at my class using the Harvest of Thanks stamp set. I did the core'dination c/s to create a distressed background. What a super cool effect. The main image was stamped and stamped the saying again with a different ink then cut and mounted. I used the Apothecary Accents die. A while back, Stampin' Up came up with a single stamp that makes a nice border for the Apothecary Accent die and I used it for this card. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Jean and I are playing today's colors- Old Olive, Baked Brown Sugar and Tangerine Tango. I used Whisper White for my Neutral.  I used the Tea Party set, stamped first in Baked Brown Sugar and then used the Designer frame EF. I added the stretch ruffled ribbon, button/linen thread for embellishments.  Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday

It has been a while since I posted a card using the MDS. So today, I decided to work on a birthday card using the birthday candles stamp brush set. I trimmed the candles and mounted them using the Chalk Talk frame. Hope you like it.

Halloween Treat Boxes

Thinking of a hauntingly cute way to deliver some treats for Halloween. These flip boxes will do the trick. I used the label framelits for my main image and stamped the images in Basic Black.  Hope you like them.

Consider It Cased

I found this beautiful card to cased in Julia's blog ( Paper Into Love) using the butterfly punch and her Color Combo.What a great idea since there is a promotion bundle that is in effect and will be ending in September 30.
Take advantage of it while you still can.
Anyway, I made a few changes on my card to make it my own. I ended up using the hexagon punch, stamping the butterfly and punching them. I added the stitched satin ribbon and added some bling on the butterfly. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I am doing a quick post for today's Playing with Colors- Soft Suede, Gumball Green, and Crushed Curry. I used Very Vanilla for my Neutral. I used the Magnificent Maple stamp again. This is the first time I used  the photopolymer stamps and this particular one I like. Hope you like it.

I did some fall cards on my class and this is one of them.  I started by stamping the background then running it in the Big Shot using the Woodgrain EF. I used the bigz die for layering then stamped the maple in Very Vanilla and did some cutting. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Today's colors- Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay. I used Very Vanilla for my Neutral. I love this hostess stamp set- Morning Meadow so I decided to used it for my card today.
I stamped the flower and then punch, then  the pansy punch on Bermuda Bay c/s. I held the two together using the candy dot base. Hope you like it.

From This To This- Asecond Look at ATC

I am getting ready for a class today and also getting my ATC done.  Here is a card that I did with my ATC. I used the web background in Smoky Slate c/s and created a pennant in Basic Gray c/s. I used the washi tape, glitter and rhinestones fro embellishments. Hope you like it.
