I am starting my quarterly tutorial for the months of May, June, July and August. I am really excited to share with you the Serene Silhouettes stamp set and the Delightful Dozen stamp set. Of course I have added accents that add special touches to the cards. The tutorial consist of 4 cards and a 3-d item that come with instructions and pictures that are so easy to follow.  The tutorial will come to you in a PDF format first week of each month. Consider It Cased

Happy Saturday !!!

I got sidetracked today that is why the late posting. I saw this beautiful card at Jennifer's blog ( Stampin' on the Fly) who used this beautiful flower on the Best of Flowers stamp set. I did make a few changes -changed the color, the ribbon placement and the card size. I did used some distressing, not really my forte but I hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Todays' colors- Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White for my Neutral. I used the stamps from the Hearts a Flutter, added the flower trim  which I sponged with Wisteria Wonder ink.  I added the Needlepoint border. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple

Happy Monday!!!

I love this Just Thinking stamp from the Mini. There is till time to order this set, so don't miss out. I stamped the image twice then I cut the sentiment to create a 3-d effect. For my background, I just want the embossed look of the doily. I love the look of rhinestones for my embellishments and the sweet double bow for the ribbon. I am kinda sad that Baja Breeze is leaving-it is one of my favorite colors.  Hope you like the card.

I am sharing this card today using Papillon Butterfly using the Blushing Bride color-one of our returning colors in the coming new catty. I used the Bigz Pennant die to frame my sentiment and added the Adoring Accent EF on the side. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

Just a quick post for today's colors- Tangerine Tango, So Saffron, Island Indigo and for my Neutral I chose Whisper White. I used the butterfly from the best of 25 years and used the elegant butterfly punch. I used the die cut for my main image and folded it and you can add a sentiment inside. I had this saying but it is not Stampin' UP but I just love it. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple

Happy Monday !!!

I had been wanting to do a bit of cleaning in my room, so last weekend I got a few things accomplished. I got rid of a lot of things that is accumulating dust, and some stuff that I have had for years and never really used. I had way too many scraps of cardstock that I would not be able to used, so I got rid of them, too. I am sure someone out there know what I am talking about.
Today's card is very simple- using the Language of Friendship stamp set that I framed with scallop punches. I love adding pennant to my card which makes a beautiful background addition. Hope you like it. Hop over to jean's blog ( bear Hugs and Inky Paws) and see what she had created.

Fancy Fold

I wanted to share with you this morning a swap that I did last month- creating a card with a fancy fold. I did framing on this card and the Simply Scored Scoring Tool came in handy.  I really enjoyed these two colors, I even used it for my ribbon. The flower trim was sponged with Pool Party ink.  Hope you like it.

I just love this beautiful card from Kim's blog  ( Scrappin with Kim) who did an awesome job with this stamp set. I basically copied her layout and changed a few things to make it my own. Playing with Colors

The colors today are such happy colors- Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo and for my Neutral Whisper White. I used the blossom punch and the scallop circle punch to make my flower. I also used the bright button for the center of my flower. I used two ribbons to finish my card.

MDS Tuesday

I did another scrapbook page using the photo effects on MDS. I chose the black and white color.
We had so much colors in our clothes that I decided to mute them with the black and white color.
I just learned how to use the freeform using the zigzag stitching and to change the button colors.

Consider It Cased

Today's inspiration is from Deb's blog ( Stamp and Create with Deborah). She made this beautiful card that has  a cool border technique. I wasn't quite sure how she made it, so I just created my own using the Delicate Details lace tape in the mini. I sponged it with Peach Parfait and Cajun Craze to get the effect that I wanted. For my main image, I framed them and moved the saying where my border is. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I am really late posting this morning- so much stuff to do and not much time to get everything done.
I finally decided to step away from it and do a quick post.
Today's colors- Basic Gray, Daffodil delight, Marina Mist and Whisper White for my Neutral.
I did the Chevron background on my card, and just did some coloring, after which I added Dazzling Details to the balloon and the cake. Hope you like it.
