Simply Simple 42



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I had been pretty busy yesterday and was kind of hoping that today will be just a relaxing day for me.
I did start my day with a simple card for today's Simply Simple week.  the flowers was stamped and colored and I used a rub on for my sentiment. I added pearls and a satin ribbon for my finishing touches.

Stampin' Up Sweet Summer

I did the same using Versamark. It just gives that soft background. I did a bit more changes because I cut the papers short and so I added the In Color DSP. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up MDS



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday !!!

I was a bit exhausted working on our taxes yesterday and I am still not done which only means one thing,
I am still going to work on it today.  I did however got some time to play in my stamp room this morning.
I printed this Petal Pizzazz from MDS and shrunk it down and mounted it in a scallop circle frame. I am absolutely liking the idea that I can shrunk the flowers smaller using the MDS. I added the Blushing Bride background from the MDS and added a strip of the Rose Red DSP.

Playing with Colors 41



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Thursday !!!

Enjoying another day off but today it's work and not play- because I will be working on our taxes.  I know, it would not be fun as I did yesterday watching my grandbaby for a few hours while Mommy
gets some errands done, and played in my stamp room while I watched the whole episode
of Season 8 of "24".
Anyway, today's Playing with Colors -Tempting Turquoise, Peach Parfait and Crumb Cake and I used Whisper White for my Neutral. 
I used the stamps from The Punch Bunch and the new Sweet Buttons embosslits. I stamped and punch the owls using the Owl punch, then I added paper piecing, added the textured background, and finished it off with Crumb Cake seam binding. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Inch by Inch



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Tuesday !!!!

Finally, a day to myself and I intend to spent it just doing the things I love-spending sometime in my stamp room, visit my little grand baby and probably treat myself to some R and R. After making this card, I thought to myself why I dod not use these colors more often... because they look so good together.
I have not used the floral fusion in a while but it just makes the perfect die cuts on these squares.
I used the  Itty Bitty Punch pack punch for the center. Hope you like it.

Birthday Owl

Time to stack up on some Masculine Cards and what better way to do it using the MDS.
Here is a quick and simple card using the MDS Punck Pack owl.  I did faux stitching on the main image, added texture and DSP. The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso. Hope you like it.

If I haven't told you  how cute these Hostess DSP's, I am telling you they are just super CUTE!  The designs make such a wonderful addtion to these 3 x 3 Note Cards that I made for birthdays.  I even used the new button embosslits.  I stamped the image and use paper piecing for the top cupcake.

Consider It Cased 40

I need some perking up this morning. it is wet and gloomy today and I thought this would be the perfect card to cased.  Here is the card I cased from Jen's blog ( Simple and Sincere) that has such a nice and simple layout, yet has this gorgeous design.  I basically changed the layout and the colors  but the concept is still the same. I added those cute Itty Bitty Shapes flowers and a scallop oval punch to my sentiment.  Hope you like it.

Regal Rose

Can you believe it's Friday already? Oh my, time flies and before you kow it March is already here.
Here is  a card I did  inspired by roses using the 5th Avenue Stamp set.  I stamped colored it and cut it into small pieces giving that raised look. I did piercing all around and added the textured background. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 40

Today's post is Playing with Colors- Rose Red, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla for Neutral. I learned the scrunchy flower technique at our last demo meeting from our hostess Susan. She used the 5 petal punch, folded it in half and cut the center part. Then she used the Stampin' Up mist and scrunch it up  and shape it like a flower.  What an innovative way to add to your card.  Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Watercolor Trio

 I just called it Concord and Pear, can you belive it? I have ran out of titles for my card for today.
It did not help at all that I worked last night and could not really come up with a better title. I stamped the card with Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz of course. I used the Hostess DSP and just absolutely love this DSP design.  Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Bliss



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Tuesday !!!

Hope everyone's sweetest day yesterday was just bliss.
I wanted to share today's post that I did for my class.  We did the Framed Tulip EF shrinking it down to size.  I stamped the butterfly twice; in the actual panel and in a scrap of paper cutting it and mounting it with dimensional.  The sentiment was framed in extra large scallop circle punch. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Filled with Love

I just love Valentine's Day and to celebrate it with someone you love makes it all special.  Here's a card that I made for my DH- stamped and also digitally designed using the MDS. It is also my Simply Simple post for today.  The front is mostly digital with the exception of the punched heart and punched flowers. The inside of the card was stamped and  I thought I would save all the mushy stuff after I posted it

Crocheted Flower

Today's post is quick and sweet using the Bold Blossom stamp from the Occasions Mini. I stamped the leaves in Old Olive and the flowers in Pink Pirouette. I added the crocheted flower handmade by me personally.  I used to crochet before I got hooked on stamping. Every now and then , I'd like to add it to my projects. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased 39

I was busy working this morning on today's post- Consider It Cased. I saw this beautiful card on Melissa's blog ( Mommy's Stampin' Creations)  and I knew I just have to cased it.  I kept the two colors- Peach Parfait and Cherry Cobbler. I did not think they were going to work out but it did.  I made a square card instead and kept a white background for my card. Hope you like it.
