Stampin' Up Simple Friendship

Happy Tuesday !!!

Hope everyone's weekend was fun.  We spent our weekend in Vegas with the kids and also to spend my DH's birthday.  I also got to see my sister that I miss so dearly.  I wish I could tell you more, but you know what they say, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas ;).
Anyway, here's an easy nice scallop trim border card for you that I think you will like.  The measurement I used for the scallop is 3-1/4 x 3-1/4 to make 7 scallops.  I also used the circle punches for the sentiment and some textured in my background usig a scoring tool. Hope you like it.

RECIPE:

Paper:  Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Pattern DSP
Ink:  Basic Black, Old Olive, markers
Accessories:  polka dot ribbon, pearls

Simply Simple 55



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

I recently went to a wedding and recreated this card for today's Simply Simple. I stamped the main image in black and added the stickles for a bit of sparkle. I used the circle die cut and embossed it for a bit of texture for my frame. The scallops border were a nice addition and the row of pearls I added on one side. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

I finally saw this beautiful card to cased today in Emma's blog ( The Lady and the Stamp) using the die cut envelope and it reveals the cute posrage stamp punch and the Pretty Postage stamp image. How cute is that.  I added a bit more to my background and I added the make a wish sentiment. Hope you like it.

All Boy

Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday !!!
it's been a while since I made a scrapbook page, so I took the time to make one featuring Mr. Cade.
I used MDS of course using the Nursery Designer Kit.
It's a very simple page with backgrounds I picked from the photos- Old Olive, Bashful Blue   I incorporated So saffron and Real Red- Cade loves red and it went nicely with the other colors. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors 54

Today's post is Playing with Colors- Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and I chose Very Vanilla for my Neutral.  I also added DSP for my paper piecing and border.  A few added texture,
square brads and twine to complate the card. I thought the sentiment will be appropriate for somebody that is graduating. Hope you like it.

Another Birthday

Stampin' Up Sail Away

I just love this stamp image from Summer Mini called Sail Away. It is so versatile and just makes a perfect masculine card.  I used it it for Father's Day card but it is ideal for birthday also.  I stamped it in Not Quite Navy two timesone for the main frame and one to used for paper piecing. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple 54



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Monday !!!

Hope everyone's weekend was wonderful.  For me, it was relaxing and enjoyable. Friday, I got to see my grandson Cade and watch him show off to Lola the new things he has learned. I got to spend the whole day Saturday  with my husband running a few errands, a hearty lunch and movies on DVD after.  Sunday was church and a few laundry, and of course some stamping.
This Simply Simple card was something that I did for my class using the the new EF- Flower Garden.
I kept it clean and simple by just adding a few punched flowers with pearl embellishments. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Thankful Thinking

Here's a unique card I did using the MDS First Edition Stamp Brush set.  I really enjoyed coloring this print and using the background . I did distressing on the background newsprint. The only thing that I stamped was the sentiment. I finished it off with ribbon and black pearls. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased 53

When Isaw this beautiful card from Carla's blog ( Calrla's Scraps) I knew I just had to cased it. The Textured background she used just complimented her lovely oval frame.  I also love her simple and elegant colors. I did changed my frame to cirle since I dod not have the scallop oval frame, added a sentiment and used pearls for my centers. I added sparkles on the on my flowers which turned out a really cute addition. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up On th Grow



Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Friday !!!

I finally got a much needed days off from work. I get to spend a day in my stamp room and get creative.
This morning I decided to used the On the Grow stamp set from the Summer Mini. Just keeping it simple and clean, I used White on White for my background and did piercing on the sides for my main panel.
I embellished with a crinkled organdy ribbon and pearls. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up Herb Expressions

Here's another week of Playing with Colors- Rich Razzleberyy, Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz and for my Neutral I used Whisper White.  I used the Herb expressions stamp set which hasn't been inked in a long time. I stamped the image, colored with markers and added stickles to the flowers and CE for the leaves. It is really a cute touch  adding those 2 together for the main image. Hope you like it.

Stampin' Up MDS

I finally got the chance to play with MDS and made some Father's Day hybrid  cards. I used Designer  Series Papers for my background and  used different colors for the ties.  It was quick and easy not having to lined them up and used neutral color brads and grosgrain ribbon for embellishments.

Sweet Friend

I just wanted to post projects that I had done on my class using the Bold Blossom stamp set and the Blossom Bouquet Triple layer punch from the Summer Mini. For the 3-d, I used The Bigz Die Petal Cone. I also used the Blossom Petals punch for the leaves and the oval scallop for the sentiment.

Stampin' Up Just Believe

Last Thursday was our demo meeting and provided the Birdhouse Make and Take. I got the inspiration from the SU catty. I used the milk carton die cut and added a few punches to finish it.  I decided to make a card to go with it made from leftover DSP scraps. I used the curly punch and did a bit of distressing.  Hope you like it.
