Scallop Flower

Scallop Flower Tutorial
Several people are asking about how I did the Scallop Flower in one of my cards. Here is the card I posted before.
I made this card to show you how I did it step by step.
I am also going to use this card for my next class.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Sweet Stems, Wow Flowers
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, DSP
Tangerine Tango
Ink: Basic Balck, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: brads,striped grosgrainTangerine tango ribbon
Tools: Scallop edge punch, circle punches, window punch
piercing tool, blender pen

Pic.1 Cut 1-1/5 x 12 strip of DSp paper.
Use the scallop edge punch .

Pic. 2 After all the scallops are done.

Pic.3 I used the Score-Pal for scoring.

Pic 4. After scoring, start folding (fan fold).

Pic. 5 This is what your scallop flower should look like after
the folds are done.

Pic. 6 Attach a sticky strip in one end.

Pic. 7 This is what your flower should look like once you glued
the two ends.

Pic. 8 Use a glue dot to adhere the opening.
You can use other kind of adhesive if you want.

Pic. 9 This is the finished scallop flower. Embellish in the middle.

Pic. 10 Punch a 1" circle and adhere in the back. It will be easy for you to mount the flower.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hey, wondering if you can help me. I found your site through another SU Demo....I have even tried calling SU support. I wanted to do this accodian flower but I can't get mine to adhere with the glue dots and stay and no other adhesive works....do you have any suggestions? I am using cameo coral cs, cutting at 1 x 8 1/2 and scoring every 10th....it all looks beautiful but only stays about 10-20 minutes and pops open...I wanted to demo it at a camp tonight and tomorrow, any help would be great you can find my blog or find my email address. Thanks.
