To My Mom

Sketch Card #167
Hello everyone !!! This is the sketch for today's challenge. I picked out the Basic Gray and Basic Black from yesterday's colors and changed Purely Pomegranate to Groovy Guava. I used the Tres Chic BG, then I stamped the leaf stamp in black for the 2 panels. I used a strip of DSP and stamp the flowers and used Vellum on top to give it a subtle look. I stamped the flowers in the circle frame and layered it with Nesties. I added just a touch of stickles and used the Narrow White organdy Ribbon and Satin Black ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Embrace Life, tres Chic
Paper: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Groovy Guava, Whisper White, DSP
Ink: Staz-On black, White Craft, Groovy Guava, White Gel Pen
Accessories: Ribbons, Brads, Stickles, Hemp
Tools: Nesties, Circle Punches, 1/16 Punch, Dimensionals

I just found your blog through SCS and I just wanted to tell you how talented you are...like you don't already know. I have never seen someone so good at unique layouts and layering paper in such eye-catching ways. I am amazed at all of your cards. I hope someday I can be as talented! Thanks for inspiring so many of us! -Jessica L.

Gorgeous card - love this ribbon treatment, I tend to layer ribbon a lot as well and it's amazing how much it makes them pop. Your layout is great and the hanging tag is just adorable!

Chat, this is so fabulous!! I haven't got to look at the gallery yet, but I bet this is one of the prettiest of the bunch. I have never told you this, but when I open up the gallery for a challenge, I can always spot your card without seeing the names. They just have a certain quality to them that stands out!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us.(If you don't mind, would you send me your address through email Jessi96@yahoo.com, I would love to add you to my RAK list, if you don't mind, if you do, I totally understand!!)Have a great day!!
